It's a sunny morning of March, the sun rays flashing to my skin just reminds me that summer is just around the corner - as well as the semi-finals of Volleyball is coming.

Bettina and I walk around the Henry Sy building. Wala na kaming klase actually, papunta kami sa restroom para mag freshen up.

"Double training na naman tayo kay coach mamayang gabi," Bettina sighed and I quietly nodded dahil totoo naman. "Oo nga eh, sasakit na naman ang long legs ko." I emphasize the long word, Bettina crazily shook her head and we both went inside the restroom.

"Sana manalo tayo this sea—"

"Did you hear that?" Bettina whispered. My forehead creased, "Hear what?"

"Shush," Bettina covered my mouth and we suddenly heard sobs galing doon sa pinakadulong cubicle.

"Ahhhhh—" I shouted dahil bigla akong kinilabutan.

Oh. My. God.

"Gaga ka! Wag ka ngang sumigaw." Bettina nudged me and I hid behind her back. Bigla naman bumukas ang cubicle kung saan may umiiyak. The girl looked at us and her eyes widen.

"Holy sh—" she covered her own mouth at mukhang gulat na gulat siya noong nakita kami ni Bettina.

"Did I scare you?" she asked innocently. Her eyes were puffy and red, hala siya.

"Y-yeah." I answered frantically. Sinamaan naman ako ng tingin ni Bettina, nagsasabi lang naman ako ng totoo!

"S-sorry though. Nagdrama lang ako sa CR. Tangina kasi ni Ricci." she says habang naghuhugas siya ng kamay. Napa-tingin naman kami sa reflection nung girl sa mirror and she's undeniably beautiful.

Ano kaya ginawa ni Ricci dito?

"Ricci? You mean Ricci Rivero?" Bettina asked and the girl nodded, "Yup, the one and only."

"If you don't mind—pwede ba sabihin mo sa amin kung bakit?" i asked and I saw Bettina's forehead creased.

Dont blame me, I'm clueless okay! I'm sorry, I don't even know a single thing about him.

"He just broke my heart." the girl confessed and my jaw just dropped.

Did I hear it right? Ricci broke her heart. Again, Ricci broke her heart.

Napa-awang ang bibig ko sa narinig ko. I thought Ricci's good to be true and hindi naman siya mukhang heartbreaker ah. Mukhang na-gets ni Bettina ang facial expression.

"I thought Ricci's—"
"Ricci's good? Yeah, he can be good but he can also break hearts too. Matagal na siyang ganyan, sa LSGH pa siya." mas lalo akong nabigla sa sinabi niya.

"I have to go now... Sorry again," she said before leaving the restroom.

Napa-tingin ako kay Bettina. Confusion written all over our face. Shet, ang daming revelations today. Nakakaloka! Masyado na ba akong focused sa volleyball, acads and breaking up with Josh?

Wait.

I have an idea.

"Betts." napatingin sa akin si Bettina habang busy siya maglagay ng foundation sa mukha niya. I grinned at her and napasimangot naman siya sa akin, "Hindi ko nagugustuhan 'yang ngiti mo." dagdag niya pa.
