prologue

getting ready for a party was hard, especially when it's a high school party with your friends. the little black dress i had bought several days ago had clung to my body in all the right places, the black heels and my long brown hair curled at the ends had finished the look of nicely.

i took a quick photo, added a plain white border and posted to instagram; with the 49k followers i had, i gained likes pretty quickly.

i had 10 minutes spare so i sat on my bed scrolling down my newsfeed liking photos and reading comments.

'looking cute ;) x' luke_is_a_penguin had commented, i had never seen him comment before since i normally get comments from the same people. i looked through his profile, he was pretty cute and seemed like he was in some sort of band? 5 seconds of summer?

i went back on to the photo and replied to his comment;

within a minute, 'lukehem' had messaged me.

'hi cutie ;)'
