   Author's Note:

This chapter is just a chill, relaxed chapter. I've been wanting to write it for a while and I just got to it. Enjoy anyway.

Personally, I love fanfiction as much as I love original stories! My profile is evidence of this if you'll look at my library and other stories I have written.... The point is, fanfiction is great! You basically start dipping your toes into the water of writing (I know that doesn't make any sense but bear with me) and it helps widen your horizons. But, that doesn't mean you can throw all laws of writing out the window when you write fanfiction! EVERY genre of writing, including fanfiction, must follow ALL the unwritten rules and laws of writing. (Someone count how many times I've said the word 'writing' in the comments) The main reason I started writing this book is because of fanfiction and all the errors I find in it. ALL the chapters I have written were mainly directed AT fanfiction writers! Now as this book grows it's directed at every type of writer. But I digress. The point is, writing fanfiction is the same as writing an original story. The same rules apply. I wrote this chapter to stress my point of the following writing guidelines and I feel that people don't really see fanfiction as important to follow these rules. Just trust me when I say that fanfiction does count as literature and the same rules must be applied to it. That's all I can think about to say about this. I'll probably come back at a later date and edit this. I don't know.
