Percy Jackson: Annabeth x male reader (Sibling fluff) part 1

Set before Lost Hero but after the events of Last Olympian

Y/N is a son of Athena, and Annabeth's newest half sibling. After being brought to Camp Half Blood by a satyr, he was rather shaken up by  the events over the day. Finding out you are a demigod is confusing. Annabeth could remember it from when Percy and all the other older half bloods had come to Camp.

Y/N sat on an empty bunk in the Athena cabin, his head swimming as his whole life was turned upside down. He was slowly coming to terms with it all, and Annabeth sat on her bunk opposite him, ready for the stream of questions that new campers usually have.

"You're boyfriend is a son of Poseidon right?" he asked Annabeth suddenly, and when she nodded he went on.

"Don't Athena and Poseidon have a rivalry because of Athens and the whole Medusa thing? I'm guessing Mom wasn't too happy with your relationship."

Annabeth sighed as she thought back to the few conversations that she had with her mom about Percy before Olympus had closed.

"Yeah, she wasn't happy with it. I don't think she ever will be, but she understands that I can make my own decisions." She told him.

"Though with Percy missing..." She mumbled under her breath, her boyfriend's recent disappearance dwelling on her mind. When Sally had IMed her that Percy had gone missing she almost had a heart attack.

*Flashback*

Annabeth had just finished sword fighting in the arena when an Iris Message shimmered before her, her boyfriend's mom's face looking out at her, tear streaking down her face.

"Sally?" Annabeth asked, many scenarios running through her mind as the mother wiped her tears away before speaking to her the two words that made Annabeth's blood freeze and her heart stop beating.

"Percy's missing."

Annabeth's breath caught in her throat as her brain tried to register what had just been said.

"W - What?" she whispered shakily, and Sally swallowed before replying.

"Percy is missing. He didn't come home from school on Friday and when I Iris Messaged him the message didn't go through. I even called him on his cell but he didn't pick up." Sally looked ready to break down as each word came out, and Annabeth told her she would tell Chiron so he could send out a search party for the son of Poseidon. Sally nodded and after saying goodbye Annabeth swiped her hand through the message.

After telling Chiron what Sally had told her, Annabeth decided to IM the one person she knew that might be able to tell her where Percy was. Nico di Angelo.

"O goddess, accept my offering. Show me Nico di Angelo."

The Iris Message shimmered before showing Nico, his hair messy and his skull shirt had a few tears in it. His face was covered in bruises and he had a hand on his Stygian Iron sword, ready to draw it at a moments notice.

"Nico!" Annabeth called to get the Son of Hades' attention. He looked up and saw Annabeth in front of him.

"Annabeth? What's going on?" he asked her, concern in his voice. The two had barely spoke since they had met two years ago, and for her to IM him something bad must have happened.

"Percy's missing." she told him, and his eyes widened as her words were processed by his brain.

"What? How? What the Hades is going on?" he said to her. She shrugged at him and asked him to check if Percy was in the Underworld. He nodded, his face becoming a blank mask as he swiped through the Iris Message, determination shining in his eyes.

*End Flashback*

Annabeth was shaken back to reality when Y/N mentioned Percy.

"How did he go missing?" he asked, and she muttered an "I don't know" before sighing to herself. 

The conch horn sounded for dinner and Annabeth stood up. 

"Come on Y/N, it's time for dinner." she said to him before leaving the cabin, Y/N following behind her.
