Camille's POV
I put on a nice red pencil skirt and a white shirt top and cream pump for office. I was the CEO's secretary so I should look my part.
I put the muffin batters in the oven before getting ready so all I had to do before leaving was put a little frosting and pack my freshly baked muffins. It was 7 30 when I reached office. The building was still half empty. I greeted the receptionist and all my known colleagues on the way. I still had quite some time in hand before Mr. Reeves came in for the day, so I made 2 cups of coffee and went to meet Daniel.
It was almost 8 when I went to the kitchen in my floor and made the coffee Mr. Reeves asked for and got to his room.
"You're late."
"But it's 8, sir."
He pointed behind me. "It's 08 02. I told you I want things to be perfect and I hate tardiness." Are you kidding me?
"I'm sorry sir. It won't happen again. Will that be all?"
He nodded and then went back to whatever file he was reading.
I was about to walk out when he called out, "What did I tell you about calling me sir?"
"Christian." Every time I say his name out loud my body starts to feel weird. "I'm sorry but it just doesn't feel right calling you by your first name when you're my boss. Can I call you Mr. Reeves for now?"
"It didn't feel so wrong the last time you moaned my name." His voice was dangerously low and husky, his lips stretched into a smirk and he slowly moved his eyes up. I felt like a truck ran over me.
Holy mother of... I felt blood rushing to my face, so without a word I quickly walk out. What the fuck just happened?!
I walked back to my table and took deep breaths to calm myself down. "Yes, breathe in, breathe out. Slow and nice." Then I noticed the muffins I was supposed to give him. Oh god how am I gonna face him again?
