Chapter 45

Demi's P.O.V

I woke up to my phone ringing, I sat up and realised I'm naked I look beside me and see a sleeping Ruby, I answer my phone before she woke up.

De- Hello

D- Demi did I wake you?

De- Uh yeah I was having a nap

D- Demi's it's only 4pm

De- Yeah I didn't get much sleep last night, so what's up?

D- We get in tomorrow morning at 10am, is that okay?

De- uh I have my interview with Ellen but I'll have someone pick you up, okay

D- Okay Demi, see you tomorrow

De- bye mum

I hung up and quickly got dress and woke up Ruby.

"Get dressed incase Scarlett walks in" I said once she was awake.

After she got dressed we went downstairs and seen Scarlett watching breaking down part 1 so we sat down and joined her.

"When do you want to use the studio" I asked her she looked at me then back to the movie.

"After this" she said while watching the TV

"Can I talk to you first please" Ruby asked

Both mine and Scarlett's gaze went to Ruby, she gave me a don't worry I won't tell her look then looked at Scarlett.

"Why" she spat

"I just want to talk" Ruby said

"Whatever" she replied then continued watching the movie.

Half an hour later the movie finished so I said goodbye to Ruby and headed to the studio.

Scarlett's P.O.V

Demi left me and Ruby alone so we could talk.

"I just want to apologise" she said

"That's great" I replied

"Come on scar" she pleaded

"What do you expect me to say Ruby, thanks for apologising none of what you said hurt at all, well it fucking did I never expected you to hurt me as much as you have the past 8 months not after what I did for you over the past years, did our friendship really mean that little to you" I said with tears in my eyes.

"Of course not Scarlett" she replied

"Then why the fuck did you throw our friendship away, 5 years I was there for you through everything and this is how you repay me by hurting me so much that I actually hate you" I said

"You hate me" she asked tears falling down her cheeks

I nodded and put my head in my hands, I heard her stand up.

" I'm so sorry Scarlett, I never in a million years wanted to hurt you but I did and I don't think I'm going to be able to handle you hating me" she said then started walking to the front door.

I took in what she had said and quickly stood up and ran after her. I grabbed her by her arm and pushed her against the wall.

"Don't do it" I pleaded

"I'm sorry scar" she said looking down

"Don't fucking do it" I said

"I have to" she replied

"No you don't, I forgive you just please don't do it" I said pulling her into a hug.

"Promise me you won't do it" i said but she ignored me

"Promise me Ruby" I said again

"I can't" she said

"Yes you can, I don't want to lose you as well" I said

"I'm sorry for hurting you I really am" she said looking into my eyes and all I can see is pain.

"If you do it, it will hurt me more than anything you have done" I said

"I'm begging you please don't do it Ruby, I don't know what I'd do without you, just go back to mine and sleep, we will hang out tomorrow just you and me, I promise" I said tears falling down my cheek she looked at me

"Starbucks at 12pm" I asked, she gave me a small nod.

"Please be there" I begged and hugged her again then she left so I went to the studio.

Demi's P.O.V

I'm sitting the studio waiting for Scarlett, just as I was about to leave she walked in and she had been crying.

"Are you okay" I asked but I wasn't really worried about how she felt I was just hoping Ruby didn't tell her about us.

"I'm fine" she said and walked into the booth and put the headphones on and started singing.

I realise the song was about her relationship with Zayn, I can't believe she's actually going to release it, I mean it's amazing but once she does questions are going to come left right and centre.

"How was it" she asked with tear marks on her cheeks.

We finished up in the studio and decided to watch a few movies with pizza.

I looked down and seen that Scarlett was asleep. I gently laid down and moved her so she was in front of me, I wrapped my arm around her.

"I'm sorry Scarlett" I whispered then drifted to sleep.
