Chapter 9

Scarlett's P.O.V

I woke up and made a doctors appointment which was at 2.

I grabbed my writing book, I had a few lyrics in my head so I decided to write them down before I forgot them.

I wish this bed was an island

We could stay here inside until the sun went down

We'd turn these blankets to hammocks

And we'd be hand in hand until the stars came out.

That's all I had at the moment so I put my book down and went for a shower. I changed into skinnys a ACDC singlet and a red checkered shirt. I put a light make up on and brushed my hair. I ran down stairs to make some toast then watched spongebob for a while, don't judge me spongebob is the best.

My phone started ringing it was an unknown number I pressed answer.

"Hello" I said

"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, TELLING JOHNNY TO MOVE TO AMERICA" my mum yelled

"Excuse me, Johnny made that decision by himself, I MAY HAVE MENTIONED IT BUT IN THE END ITS JOHNNY'S CHOICE" I replied

"STOP LYING" she yelled

"Sorry hun, but it's not my fault your son wants to move away from you I mean fair enough a few hours away but the other side of the world, man that's gotta hurt" I said stirring her up

"NOW YOU LISTEN HERE" she yelled

"NO YOU LISTEN TO ME MUM, YOU DONT HAVE ANY RIGHT TO CALL ME UP AFTER NOT SPEAKING TO ME FOR 2 FUCKING YEARS AND ACCUSE ME OF SOMETHING, ITS NOT MY FAULT YOUR SON DOESNT WANT TO BE NEAR YOU" I yelled

"Do not call me mum I'm not your mother, you're nothing but a spoilt brat" she spat

I hung up on her tears falling down my cheeks. I went up stairs and fixed my makeup then grabbed my keys and phone and headed to the doctors. I decided to walk seen tho it was only 5 blocks away and it would give me time to think.

I arrived at the doctors half an hour later, it was 1:50 so I went inside and sat down waiting for the doctor to call my name.

"Scarlett Autumn" I male doctor called

I stood up and followed him to a room.

"So how can I help you today" he asked

"I need to get my hand checked out" I replied

I showed him my hand and he looked over it.

"How did this happen" he asked

"I got into a fight" I replied honestly

"Hmm well you're going to have to have x-rays done, follow me" he said standing up

I followed him to a room and had some x-rays done then went back to the room and waited for him to tell me what's wrong.

"Okay well you haven't broken anything but you have fractured two of your knuckles" he explained

"Okay, so do I need a cast or something" I asked

"No just need to get it wrapped up and you'll be fine, if you have some pain just take pain killers" he said

I thanked him then started walking home, after walking for about 20minutes Ruby came out of nowhere.

"What do you want Ruby" I asked annoyed

"Looks like those few punches left you worse then me" she laughed
