Scarlett's P.O.V

I woke up to a text from Justin I looked at the clock and it was 10am. I quickly sat up and read the text.

TEXT MESSAGES

Justin: Where are you?, you were supposed to be here Half hour ago!

Scarlett: oh shit I'm sorry! I'll be there in 20.

Justin: okay but hurry up.

END TEXT MESSAGES

I quickly got out of bed and had a shower then raced downstairs grabbing keys and bag then headed out. I got into my car and started it up then headed to Starbucks.

I pulled up and went inside and walked over to the booth Justin was at and sat down.

"I'm so sorry my alarm didn't go off" I explained to him

"It's okay you just have to make it up to me" he replied with a smile

Justin got up and ordered our drinks then sat back down.

"So what's been happening with you since I went back to Canada" Justin asked

"Well I've just been writing music" I replied

"Awesome, so I was thinking I know you don't want to use me for my fame but I want to do a song with you" Justin said

"I don't know Justin" I replied

"Come on Scar, at least have a look at what I've written so far" he begged

"If we were to do a song I want to write it" I replied taking a sip of my hot chocolate.

"You don't like music" Justin asked

"Justin that's a stupid thing to say, you know I love your music but it's my album I want to write the songs that go on it" I explained to him

"I know I'm just messing with you" he started laughing

"I hate you, you made me feel like shit" I laughed

"Okay how about we co write" he asked

I nodded and shook his hand making a deal with him.

"So uh you know I just got back from Canada right" Justin asked

"Yeah" I looked at him with a confused look

"Well Ryan came back with me" he smiled

"Omg are you serious, I haven't seen him in ages, can I come over later" I said all excited

"Uh yeah sure" he replied not feeling confident with his answer

"Sweet I can't wait to see him" I smiled

"Okay but you mig-" my phone started ringing which cut him off. I pulled out my phone and a picture of my dad was on the screen I pressed the answer button.

"Hey dad" I said

"Hey Scarlett, what are you doing" he asked

"I'm just at Starbucks with Justin, why?" I asked

"Well I just flew in and need a ride home, I was going to get a car but I though you would be able to pick me up and we could catch up" he explained

"Yeah of course, I'll be there in 20" I replied I hung up

"Sorry Justin I've gotta go, text me when you want me to come over" I said to him standing up

"Okay then I'll see you later" he replied while standing up
