That day you went home riding the bus.

Your leg was still in agony, so walking would've probably been a bad idea.

Michael was waiting for you at the bus stop.

"Gimme your bag." He said, holding his arm out.

You looked around.

Michael gave you a confused look.

You felt like you were being watched, but not by just Michael.

"Is something wro-"
"Shhh!"
"...?"

You looked around again.

The front of the complex had a fancy group of shrubs there.

You gestured for Michael to stay as you approached.

You kicked the bushes hard, and a shriek of pain was heard.

Tumbling out of the bushes was no other than Jenna herself.

"Stop watching me!" You exclaimed.

Michael was in shock.

"It's too late! I've got evidence of you hanging out with Michael!" Jenna claimed.

You slapped the phone out of her hand.

She screamed as the phone shattered on the concrete.

"I-It's in the Cloud!" She spewed.

You stomped on her already broken device.

"I can call the police if I wanted to, and charge you for stalking. Did you know that taking pictures of someone without permission is illegal?" You crossed your arms.

"Chloe told me to!" She whined.

"Tell Chloe that I don't want her offer anymore."
"She's not going to be happy."
"Do you think I care? She's rude."
"Yeah, but-"
"But what? I don't care about people like her. One day she's going to realize that she's wrong."

"Chloe is going to ruin you." Jenna said solemnly.

She gathered the bits of her phone, probably cutting her hands in the process.

She stomped off.

"Holy shit." Michael blinked.

"You should elaborate." He said.

You started walking towards the complex.

"It's not a big deal." You shrug.

"You're kidding, right? Chloe is a huge deal." He waved his arms for emphasis, walking with you.

"Not to me." You scoffed.

Michael frowned and stayed silent.

You didn't talk for a while.

Neither did he.

"She hurt me yesterday." You exhale deeply, as if a huge weight had been lifted.

Man, it was hard to say that.

Michael stopped.

"W-What?" He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"She got mad that I didn't show up. She pushed me down and stuff." You two start to get closer to the apartments.

Michael stayed silent for a moment.

"Why'd you get involved with her?" Michael's tone was laced with an unreadable emotion.

"I don't know! I was lost, and confused... I don't know what I was thinking." You folded your arms and frowned.

You two had reached the destination.
