I smiled, I was about to text him when an unknown number suddenly texted me.

Unknown number: Good luck on your game, small bean! 🌟🙆

My forehead creased and curiosity killed the cat again. This unknown number even called me, small bean. Like, sinong hindi macu-curious right?

I didn't bother replying to the unknown number but instead magre-reply nalang ako kay Josh. I know how much it will make him happy kapag tini-text ko siya before ng game ko.

"Phones please," my eyes widened nung biglang dumating 'yung assistant coach namin. He started confiscating our phones and we need to surrender it before the game starts.

"Cobb." his firm voice gave me shivers to my spine and I automatically gave my phone to him without even replying to Josh's message. I sighed and suddenly my mind drifted on its own again... What's the purpose of replying to his I love yous if I'm going to break his heart in the end?

"Earth on Michelle?" nagising ang buong diwa ko noong biglang nagsalita si Ate Des sa tabi ko.

"Labas na daw tayo sa dug out sabi ni coach," she says while stretching out her arms para alalayan akong tumayo. Arm in arm, Ate Des and I walked out of the dug out. Roaring fans and unendless flash from the cameras welcomed us.

I'm super tensed even though I'm still unsure if ipapasok ako ni coach sa game mamaya. He'll be strict though, dahil Ateneo ang makakalaban ng team today.

Guess who's pressured right now?

Me.

I felt the breeze of cold rush into my skin, kahit na naka-jacket ako randam ko ang lamig dito sa loob ng Arena.

The UAAP official started whistling. The game is about to begin.

The game ended with a W. I'm glad kahit isang beses lang ako pinasok sa court. The whole team decided to party somewhere near in Taft lang naman para hindi struggle umuwi kapag nalasing na.

Coach Ramil wanted to go with us pero may family gathering sila tonight. Of course, before he left us pinaalalahanan niya kami at sinermonan ng konti. Just like what a typical Dad would do kapag magb-bar ang anak niyang babae.

We all went to our dorm para magpalit nalang ng damit dahil nakapag-shower na din kami kanina before leaving the arena.

"Yes to victory parties!" Ate Kianna screamed while she's putting makeup on her face. "Tara dito kayo. I'll put makeup on your faces," sabi niya at inilabas niya ang make up kit niya. We all went up to her  except for Ate Kimmy. Inaasar pa nga namin si Ate KAF at binabatuhan namin siya ng makeup brushes.

Umakyat muna ako sa taas para maka-usap si Josh sa phone. He texted me earlier that he wants to hear my voice and how much he misses me. In short, gusto niya akong makausap.

It's 8:30 PM and sa tingin ko matagal-tagal pa bago ako malagyan ng makeup ni Ate Kianna dahil madami kami. I'll talk to Josh for awhile.

I called him and after a few rings, he answered the phone.

"Baby!" he squeals and I can't help but laugh at him. He's too cute. "Hi," I muttered. "We won today!" I happily said on the other line and I heard him laugh.
