Skylar's POV

"BEEP, BEEP, BEEP"

ughh, it's 6 am when my alarm goes off. I sit up and turn my alarm off. I then lay back down and check all my social media's. It's not until 5 minutes later, that I realize today is my big day. It can go one of two ways.

1) It could be totally amazing and I could make a bunch of friends. Hot boys are always a plus, too.

2) Everyone there sucks and I make zero friends.

At this point, it's about a fifty, fifty chance of going either way. Honestly, I don't need a bunch of friends to make me happy. I only need 1, and hopefully she (or he) is at this new school.

I walk in my bathroom and take a shower. I brush my teeth and wash my face. I decided to curl my hair, since it would look better with my outfit. I put on my outfit on that I picked out the night before. I choose high waisted jean shorts, a black crop top, a flannel, and vans. (Picture above) I did my everyday makeup, which is foundation, concealer, blush, mascara, and lip-gloss.

Yesterday morning, the movers arrived with some of our stuff and my mom's car. We are still waiting for my brothers' car, as well as my car to arrive. That means my mom has to drive me to school.

By this point I am running a little late, like usual, so my mom is calling my name. I run downstairs, grab breakfast and my backpack, and then jump in the car.

My mom tries to make conversation on our way, but I just can't focus. I am so nervous. I feel like I am about to throw up. Here's the thing. I am a very anxious person. I absolutely hate public speaking and being in a new environment. I feel like everyone will judge me for the way I look and talk, and I hate that feeling.

Before I know it my mom is pulling into the school parking lot. I grab my backpack, and start to open the car door.

"Have a good day, sweetie. Don't forget to make new friends."

"I'll try mom. Love you." I say this as I quickly shut the car door.

Here we go.
