Regulus' POV
I was waiting for Angelica to say something, as she did interrupt my precious reading time in the library for this announcement.
She took a deep breath and started, "I think. . ."
"You think. . .?"
"I think that I. . ."
"Ugh! Just say it, Angelica!"
"I. . .have a crush."
I squealed. "REALLY?? Who is it!?"
"You might judge me for it. . ."
I took her hand in mine. "I would never judge you, Angelica! Only when you make stupid decisions."
She laughed and then took on her more serious state. "Okay. So. . . I have a crush on Lily Evans."
I stared at her, shock clearly evident on my face.
"And. . . She kissed me under some mistletoe just earlier today."
There was silence in the air until I hugged her. "I am so proud of you for telling me this, Angelica. Does anyone else know?"
She sighed in relief
"No. . . Only you."
"How long have you had this crush?"
"A month or two now."
I smiled at her as she smiled back at me.
"I am so glad that I have you as my best friend, Reggie. I really am."
