(Open scene with Ashlynnlaying in bed in her room)
Ashlynn: *laying on her back, looking up at the ceiling* Why? Why do you take away my friend? I know what she did wasn't right. It was very very stupid, but why couldn't you leave her with a warning. Anything but this...I miss her.
(Enter Aleen)
Aleen: Why would this happen?
Ashlynn: Not this...
Aleen: Maybe because you couldn't help her.
Ashlynn: I couldn't?
Aleen: You could have. You just...didnot.
Ashlynn: Please not this. Not now.
Aleen: Then when?
Ashlynn: Never
Aleen: You can't run from this Ashlynn.
Ashlynn: *flips onto the front and buries head in pillow*
Aleen: This had to be partially your fault. There was so much that you could have done.
Ashlynn: *mumbles into pillow*
Aleen: She would still be alive.
Ashlynn: *lifts head from pillow* Stop.
Aleen: You could have saved your friends life.
Ashlynn: Stop!
(Exit Aleen)
Ashlynn: *cries into pillow*
(Knock on the door)
Jessie: Hey Ashlynn, may I come in?
Ashlynn: *still crying*
(Enter Jessie)
Jessie: *walks over to Ashlynn's bed and sits down on it* Aww Ash. Is the whole friend thing still hitting you hard? *rubs Ashlynn's back*
Ashlynn: *turns over and sniffles* She was my best friend.
Jessie: I know I know
Ashlynn: She can't be gone...I mean *pulls up phone* Look, there she is *Holds up the phone with a photo of her and Blair on the screen*
Jessie: ...Ash *takes phone*. You are in the denial stage. I'm gonna take this for now, okay? You need to take your mind off of this. I have an idea.
Ashlynn: *sniffles* what?
Jessie: No questions, just get up and get dressed.
Ashlynn: I don't feel like going outside.
Jessie: You haven't left the house since that party. You've been locked away in this room for four days now.
Ashlynn: and?
Jessie: and you're gonna get up right now so that your ol' pal Jess can help you out. Is that okay?
Ashlynn: Okay, but I don't wanna talk to anyone.
Jessie: Okay *gets up and walks to the doorway* I'll be downstairs waiting for you.
Ashlynn: I'll be down in a bit.
(Exit Jessie)
Ashlynn: *gets out of bed and walks over to the closet*
