Chapter 14 - Airport Dilemma

Start from the beginning

"Where abouts did you go?" I question

"Well, we flew from here to Hawaii, then we stopped over at Ireland to see my grandparents. Then we flew to Brazil and stayed there for around...hmm.. a week? We basically travelled all around the globe really. It was such a good trip, I'll never forget it" She says reminiscing the past

"Back" Siddharth says pulling out his chair with a screech

"Who was that? Client?" Hannah asks inquisitivly

"Nah, just my mum" He replies

"Ahh" Hannah says

"What do we have here" Exclaims a tall white man grabbing a seat

He is dressed in an bottle green jumper and fitted blue pants. He was around Siddharth's height, but had a beaming smile carved on his face, unlike my angry husband

"Sid, Nisha, I'd like you to meet someone" Hannah says with a smile brighter than the glowing sun

"Let me guess, another boyfriend" winks Siddharth with a laugh

"Shut up, he's my fiance" Hannah says kissing the man

"Bill" He says with a smile

"Sid" Siddharth says reaching out to shake his hand

"And you ma'am?" Bill asks

"Nisha" I say

"You two in a relationship?" Bill asks putting his arms around Hannah, who is beaming with joy.

"Um. Married" Siddharth says looking down at the table

Looking at Hannah and Bill, I was green with envy. Siddharth and I were in a completely different stage in our relationship compared to them. Bill and Hannah were so in love. Just by looking at their faces, I could tell how content they were with each other, unlike Siddharth and I.

After what seems like hours, we decide to leave the airport.

"It was nice to meet you, my lil short friend" Hugs Hannah bending down to hug me.

It was true, Hannah and I did have an awkward height difference. She was 6 foot compared to me.

"If Siddharth ever bothers you, just text Hannah kay?" Jokes Bill with a laugh

Although Bill was joking, I was truly grateful that I met Hannah. She was not a vain or haughty girl like I thought she would be, instead she was a friendly and sweet woman.

"Do you like near teh airport?" I ask

"Yeah, just a 10 minute drive from here, and bam! I'm at home!"

"That's always convinient" I say

Whilst my conversation with Bill, I overhear Hannah speak to Siddharth

"You really went for her?" She whispers thinking that I couldn't hear her

"Yeah" Sighs Siddharth's sarcastically

" You broke up with Alia for Nisha?" Hannah scuffs

My opinion about Hannah flips. She was not sweet nor kind. She was a two-faced brat!

"Do I look like I wanted this marriage? " I hear Siddharth say

"It was pretty darn obvious that you weren't into her. I mean, is she even your type?" questions Hannah

" Nisha is the complete opposite of me, in fact she is everything I didn't want in a wife"He scuffs

"Poor you" Hannah moans

"All I can say is, I'm screwed. Even Alia is over me, she doesn't want to get back together. She said that the most we could ever be is friends" Sighs Siddharth

"That sucks. I remember when you did that to me" Hannah says

"But that was ages ago. And look at you now, you're so happy with Bill" Siddharth excaims

If I heard correctly, Siddharth and Hannah were in a relationship 'ages' ago. That explains why they were so close. In all honesty, Siddharth was the sort of guy you'd expect to have a lot of exes. I mean, he's got the looks, he's got the money, the only thing he is missing out on is a bit of compassion.

"Hmm, falling in love with Bill was the greatest thing that has happened to me. I just wish you could find the right woman" Hannah says

"Yeah, I hope so. I just want to get rid of Nisha first and then I'll start thinking about finding a new girl"

Get rid of me? Did I hear correctly?

What on Earth did he mean by getting rid of me? Fear shivered up my spine. All these negative thoughts pile up in my mind. What was he going to do to me?
