He stood next to me; nervously shifting his weight foot to foot. My phone buzzes and the blue words pop up, "We have to go back to my mom soon. But we can go on this first." I say, safely tucking my phone away in my purse.
We get on and the ferries wheel slowly starts to turn towards the sky. I lay my head on his shoulder and sigh in contentment. He seems still a bit unease.
I watch the stars and the moon and the sky flutter and change. The night is beautiful and we have this unnormal silent peace.
I flick my eyes up to look at him and he is looking at me. He leans down close and I move myself. Our lips briefly touch and I feel this flourish of feelings run through me. Fuzzy tingling little bites at my entire being.
We separate and I just lay against his shoulder, happy.
