We're "Dating"

Lucas

I wait in the hallway of the Smash Mansion, beside the boy's toilets, where Ness is currently residing. I hum a tune while waiting but am interrupted by Villager.

"Hey, Lukey~" He says. Caught off guard, I say:

"I- Uh, h-hello...?" He giggles in response.

"You're so cute, Lukey." He says.

"I don't-" I get cut off by a certain violet eyed person.

"Hey, Lucas!" Ness says, coming up beside me and holding my hand. I blush. He turns towards villager. "Hi, we're boyfriends."

"Are you just doing this to get away from me?"

"No? What are you talking about...?" He says. "Oh! Were you flirting with my Lukey here?"

"I don't believe any of this." Hre says, crossing his arms.

"Why not? We're going out, right, Luke?"

"Y-Yeah. For almost two months now." I make up.

"Kiss him, then." He says. Ness looks at me, as if to say sorry. He kisses me lightly on the cheek and I feel my face burn up.

"No. You have to miss him..." He gets closer and whispers. "On the lipssssss..."

Ness looks at me again and I nod. Why we're going this far when we aren't even dating I don't-

My thoughts are cut off by Ness's lips coming into contact with mine. If only for a second, it felt like everything was good. The world was a perfect place. Then he takes his lips off of mine and I realise how hot my face is. We turn towards Villager. Villager is holding his phone, taking a video.

He quickly runs off, saying: "Wait until I show this to the others!"

Ness sighs and rubs his face. I pat him on the back.

"Hey, Ness?"

"Yeah?"

"C-Can we do that again?"

Lots of short ones in one day seems like a good replacement for one long one every second day or something
