Never Let Go (A Gay Furry story)

I kept on staring at Dustin "Uh My name is Felix?" I respond back nervously as Dustin realizes who I am. "Oh! I remember you, you're that new student who I took in like just about a week ago, how come you aren't at school also why are you in my home?" Dustin taps his foot on the floor until I see Drace coming down. "Oh I see".

"Drace so you come home and don't bother to call or tell me that you're home or even to say that you brought in guest but why did you bring him here?" Dustin asks still confused on why I am here. "Well you know how I had my apartment?" Dustin listens on. "Wait had?" Dale just nods his head as he keeps explaining. "I said had because the building caught on fire and most of it got burnt to a crisp and I can only just assume that my floor also caught on fire, so I had to come here and stay for a bit until we can get another place to stay. Felix is my roommate to piece things all together"

Dustin just sighs a bit as he gathers some papers in his hands and carries them as he tells us a few more things before he leaves off back to school. "Okay just you guys better start looking for another place to live if you guys don't want to live off of my rules that are set in this house" Dustin then walks out of the door and into his car departing, leaving them there. "Well that was a fun and peachy conversation, wasn't it?" I look to Dale. "Yea I guess so but that's my dad for ya".

"So what should we really do? Should we just look for apartments or maybe we can like go outside and take a walk in the park or just I don't know" I give a small shrug, plopping myself down on the couch having barely any ideas. "Okay, how about you go take a shower? That seems like a good idea? Since you smell of smoke plus musk! That's definitely something I sure love to smell" I get up to look at Dale as I roll my eyes. "Rude hoe" I laugh going upstairs to take the shower as Dale's mom rushes past me leaving to what seems to be work.

"Bye mom!" Dale gives her a quick hug as she leaves. I get into the shower with the hot water slowly running down my fur resting my body, trying to relax myself from all that is happening right now. "Life's a bitch" I say to myself scrubbing my fur trying to get out the smoky smell. After I finished my shower I walked to Dale's room looking into my duffel bag wondering what clothes is clean and which is dirty so I sniff through them.

"Really!? The only clothes that don't smell like either ash or B.O has to be my slutty looking clothes" I sigh hoping that we better not go out or else who knows what looks I'll be getting from other furs. I make my way downstairs but when Dale hears my steps going down he turns around trying to tell me something. "So I think I.... What the hell are you wearing? If that was the only thing you had left then why didn't you just tell me? I have so much clothes that doesn't fit me or shrunk but the bad thing about it is that most of them have holes in the back of the shirts and stuff for my wings although I think I do have some shirts without it, so let's go check my mess of a closet and drawers".

"So out of all the things that we both searched for we found just these and for jeans or pants I have nothing so you're stuck with those short shorts" I hear Dale chuckle but also to look at me from behind to only think that he's looking at my ass. "Well I'll just take this" I grab a shirt with what seems to be like some sort of band. "I haven't listened to those furs in such a long time, they still have good music but I kind of usually just listened to their more depressing stuff" I change my shirt as Dale waits for me. "Okay, so like I was saying before I got rudely interrupted by your slut outfit we can both go hiking!" I think of what he just said for a moment. "Eh... I never been hiking before so why not! Gotta try something new at least"

We start packing our backpacks with some stuff from the kitchen and the garage until they have all we need since we never know if we could get lost. "Okay so let's go then! I'm ready for another adventure with this big dragon!" I kiss his cheek running to the passenger side of the car waiting for Dale to get in. "C'mon!" I tell Dale as he barely starts the car and we leave the parking lot to the mountains. "Soooooo when do you think you'll actually come out to your dad? I know you just came out to your mom but also because you know that she doesn't care and is very calm about it" I look to Dale who keep his eyes on the road, maybe not wanting to talk about his dad and the stuff that is happening.

"Honestly Felix, I don't really want to know what he'll do, I'm kinda nervous how he'll react but I'm ready to tell him when it is the right time to do so but if you want me to tell him soon or something, I could if you would like me too? Just his reaction could be bad like the cliche homophobic dad or maybe something different, who knows?" Dale sighs keeping his eyes on the road as we reach the more forested area, I lower down the window to look out at the view we are getting. "We should have packed some more stuff for camping this looks pretty maw dropping.
