I kept driving even if it was dark out already, I just wanted to get as far as I can from Northridge as possible. "Life sure isn't gonna be the same anymore" I park the car one last time to refuel but to also get some coffee. I got back on the road as fast as I could not wanting to waste my time.
"Fuck... where am I gonna stay? I'll just get a motel even though I don't trust them, they are just too creepy and there I go again!! Talking to myself is just a lovely thing to do ain't it? You crazy fucking wolf" I laugh to myself as I arrived at the motel I was talking about.
I went to go get the key to my room from the guy in the check in place. 'He sure seemed a bit overly excited to have someone stay in his motel' I thought to myself as I started to unlock the room so I can just lay in at least a bed.
Morning came by just too quickly making my life just peachy 'cause I felt like I didn't even get enough sleep, so I just let out a sigh when I gave back the room key to the fur. Once I got back into my car I decided to check my phone for any sort of a message. Expecting nothing to show up and to my surprise I was right. "Ha! Ain't nobody going to miss this wolf"
I started up the car getting back on the road and soon enough I made it to the big ole' city. "Now... where am I gonna live?" I parked my car near a nice looking neighborhood. "Our mission for tonight is to find someone I can be friends with?"
For the whole day, I have just been roaming downtown just to try and catch my bearings of the whole place for it really is a lot to take in for someone like me. That was when I got struck in the head by a football than seeing this huge hunk of a dragon running towards me. "Yo dude are you alright?!"
I look a bit dazed for a few seconds but I shake my head to clear my mind "wah? Uh oh, yea! I'm okay" I start to stand back up. "Well I'm sorry about the other guys missing the ball and hitting you in the head, I'll make sure they'll be fried doggy meat" he started to laugh a bit then stops abruptly. "Anyways. Is there some sort of way I'll be able to repay you?" He raises an eyebrow.
"Not really? Unless you know a decent apartment I could pay rent for?" I smile then walking away slowly. "Wait a second!" he grabs my shoulder causing me to stop. "I think the building I live in has a room open for rent? Give me your number and I'll be sure to see if there's a room for ya" I nod my head to the things he saying never catching his name as I gave him my number.
"I guess he's a friend?" I tell myself just looking out at the field they are playing football on. I turned around to walk back to my car when my phone suddenly starts to vibrate.
Dale: I needed to make sure this is an actual number, sorry just I've been given fake numbers because furs just didn't wanna talk to me but anywho, I forgot to tell ya my name! It's Dale! If ya didn't know
Felix: oh okay, my name is just Felix, I'll text you later or something Dale, I have to get back to my car.
Dale: Alright!! Take care you small wolfie!!
I look for my car forgetting where I parked it so I look around for ten minutes to see it being hooked by a tow truck. "Fuck! Nonononononono" I say out loud banging on the tow trucks car. "Open!!" I yell when the door to the truck opens and a shepherd jumps out.
"What do you want pup?!" He looks at me a bit angered that I bothered him. "That's my car" I calm myself down not wanting to yell again. "Well, then you would be glad to hear that it's getting impounded for parking in a wrong parking spot" He gets back in his tow truck. "Fine! Just let me grab my two bags in the car" I tell him through the open window. "Make it quick. I have other places to be" he shakes his head slightly but I ignore him grabbing my bags.
When I got all my bag. The shepherd just drove off with the doors slightly open still but close from the speed he was driving at. I let out a long sigh seeing the car disappear slowly in the distance. "Well, there goes my car until I pay the fine, ugh" I look at my bags just wondering what I'm gonna do.
I finally came to a decision that I'll mostly hang out at the park. "Life is such a bitch" I look out at the sky seeing the sun go down. "Ya can say that again!" I jump off the bench and I fall on the floor seeing Dale. "What are you doing here so late, " I ask him while getting up from the floor, brushing off any dust that's on me.
"Me and the guys usually play until it gets dark out so that's my answer. No, how about you tell me why you're out here?" Dale takes a seat, looking at his watch for a second. "Do you want the real reason or just a lie?" I raise my eyebrow but I soon break the look to laugh lightly. "I'd like the truth pwease"
"Haha, okay, so I did leave the park to go back to my car but I came to realize that I parked in such a bad spot.... Meaning my car got towed. I've been having a bad day today even worse I don't have a place to stay for the night" I start to just ramble about all the other things that have happened throughout my whole day.
"Woah! Calm down there pup!" Dale puts a hand on my shoulder. "One thing at a time, alright?" Dale gets up and he starts to lead me to his apartment building. When we arrived at the lobby of his apartment I saw how fancy it actually is. "Uh is this an apartment building or condominium?" I look up at Dale.
"Oh uh, this is an apartment building just more fancy? I guess" Dale starts to lead me to the elevator. "Give me a second" I walk to the center of the lobby knowing Dale is gonna let me sleep at his place. 'Should I stay or leave?' I close my eyes for five seconds then reopening them to make my final decision taking a step that I know might change the course of my life?
