Never Let Go (A Gay Furry story)

I grip onto Dale with my life not wanting to let go, afraid to even look down as he flies us on another roof of a building so that we can be at least safe there for now. "W-what are we gonna do?" I look at him as I sit on the ground looking at all the smoke rising up. "Honestly Felix I don't even know what to do now, I think I might move back with my parents for a bit until they either fix this place back up and or I look for another decent place" I just keep hold of Dale's hand not wanting to part. "Yea, you do need to save money right now after who knows how much you lost just now but where should I go? Should I just rent some cheap place for now or what?" Dale looks at me with his worried eyes.

"I uh hun... Why don't you just go back with your parents for now? Wait shit sorry I forgot that you moved here alone and that parents barely gave a shit about you" Dale keeps me close to his chest as I nuzzle into him, wishing that what is happening right now is a dream. "Okay, I think I figured out what our plan is gonna be for the time being, you'll move in with me since I know for sure that we always have a spare guest room in our house and I'll try to convince my parents that you'll be able to be put there, if that is okay with you?" I think about it for a few seconds as I just nod my head casually. "Okay yeah sure that'll be fine but what about your dad? Isn't he like a major homophobe?"

"Well yea he is so that means we'll just have to keep our relationship a secret until we finish high school then we'll be off to college! I hope we are both thinking about maybe going to the same school? If we don't then it's gonna be fine, I'll miss you a lot but we'll make sure to visit each other" Dale gives me a big smooch on the cheek as I rub it blushing as always.

"Yea that's always true but I'm sure we'll know more later on in the future because you really can never know how things in life can play out, it's not like our lives are written out for us?" I tell Dale as I get out my phone to look at the weather. "Yea thats true, we are the ones that shape our path to either success" Dale keeps me close to him as we move ourselves to look out at the view being able to see all the lights and far off the ocean.

"So when should we start packing things up to go to your parents place? I mean should I be going with you first or should I wait for you to go in and then give it a bit of time?" I ask trying to just come up with a small little plan. " Dale starts to think of what they should be doing. "Uh yea I think it's best that you wait for me to tell you if they'll be okay with it" I give a light smile thinking of how scary his dad was at school when I had to talk to him about getting into the school.

"Although I feel like he might remember me from last time I talked to him? I mean he was kind of scary to talk to but I think he trusted me or liked me?" I shrug relaxing myself not wanting to worry about it. "Huh? My dad and I barely talk, he does his own stuff and I do mine although when we both go to school and like uh I get in trouble or something that's when we start to talk more" Dale goes on his phone to just show mostly pictures of him and his mother along with his more younger brother.

"I'm guessing either your dad doesn't go out with you guys like a family or is always busy with who knows what?" I give Dale his phone back. "Okay let's get out of here, we're gonna place our stuff in the cars and then find a motel or hotel for the night" I respond with just a simple "Ok" as we both start to pick up our stuff as we head all the way back down through a few stairs then an elevator.

"Good thing we didn't park the cars in the car garage today" Dale motions to the smoke that is coming out of the garage. "Yea ain't that the truth" I sigh feeling a bit bad for all the other furs who weren't as lucky as us. We finally make it to our cars and we both pack our things separately. "Should we even go back to sleep? Just look at the time? It's already becoming six am" I groan not being able to get rest.

"Okay yea scratch out the hotel and motel sleeping, let me just take you to my home and I'll talk to my mom since my dad I'm sure went off to work already or in our case school" Dale gets in his car and I get into mine following him barely starting to learn the streets until we come to a stop after what felt like tenish minutes. "Really we're here? That we fast but please go inside and hurry up to talk to her, hun! I'm really really sleepy" I tell Dale in a tiresome voice not even wanting to leave the car anymore.

"Okay okay, I'm going right now, sheesh" Dale chuckles lightly seeing him run to the front of the door and knocking to see another dragon open the door that jumps a bit at the surprise and goes to hug Dale and they talk right at the door right before I close my eyes to just rest a little I see him point to me.

So it's been kind of a while that I haven't put up a chapter and most of the reason is due to laziness and work but also just school in general. UGH life gets you busy but hey enjoy this chapter lol. Cya later !
