I walked up the gates and walked inside putting on my best fake smile.. I greeted some people and talked around for a while we waited for Joe and Sophie's arrival..
A photographer opened a corner for the photographs and so we didn't lose time, started taking pictures of all the guests.. including me and Nick, of course..

The night went on pretty smoothly.. yes I had to sit next to Nicholas and sometimes talk to him, but next to me was Maya, with who I had grown closer over the years, so I also took that as an opportunity to catch up and talk to her
Close to the end of the diner, Nick put an arm on my chair while people started invading the dancefloor.. I knew he was now waiting for our table to get completely empty so that we could talk..

I stared at his eyes seeing how dedicated he looked.. his eyes were jumping between mine as he waited for my answer
I rached out for his hand and he smiled slightly before helping me stand up
The music was slow so I could only assume he would talk with me while we swayed
