The next morning I woke up to my radio.

I slowly opened my eyes and got up.

I looked over at Zane and saw him lying there dressed and ready to go.

"Um, morning," I said tried to him. I got up and headed out the door.

"Hello,"

I stopped in my tracks and turned around.

He talked?

"I'm sorry what?"

"I said hello," he said again sitting up.

"You talked,"

"Yeah, sorry about yesterday,"

"It's fine," I said looking at him.

I realized that he wasn't wearing his sunglasses. He had light hazel eyes that looked almost orange. His skin was also had more color to it than yesterday. It wasn't as pale as it was. He was dressed in all black.

"I'm in the kitchen if you need me,"

"Okay," he said lying down again.

I walked to the kitchen and made myself a bowl of cereal.

My parents were already at work, so its just me and Zane.

I went back to my room to get dressed.

I walked into my closet and changed in there, which was very hard to do.

"I could have left the room," Zane said once I came out of the closet.

"Right," I said running my hand through my hair.

I quickly fixed my hair and put on some make up and packed my bag.

"Blake," Liz called as she walked in my house.

"Hey, in here," I called

She came into my room. "Let's g- who's the hot hunk on the bed?" she whisper to me once she saw Zane.

"That is the foster child my parents want to adopt, his name is Zane. Zane meet my best friend Liz, Liz meet Zane,"

"Nice to meet you," she said

"Likewise," he replied.

"Let's go," I said walking out the door.

The three of us walked to school together. Me and Liz were in front and Zane was in the back.

Once we reached the school Liz and I said our good byes and I walked Zane to the office.

Zane will be following me today and tomorrow he will get his schedule.

We walked in silence to my locker.

"Blake!" Liz yelled running up to me.

"What?" I asked opening my locker.

"Mat is single!" she yelled.

"What?"

"Yup,"

"No way,"

"I know, do you think he'll ask me out?"

"Sure," I said.

Liz hit my arm. "Your suppose to say yes,"

"Sorry,"

She rolled her eyes and turned around.

"Oh my gosh, he's coming this way,"

"That's great," I said getting my books.

"No, I mean, this way this way,"

"Liz,"
