After dad left I cleaned up the kitchen and then checked my phone.

1 message from Gee

I typed in the password so I could read the message.

Gee: hey Quinn sorry I'm running late be there in 15

Quinn: not forgiven

Quinn: jk see ya in 15

That meant I only had 15 minutes to get ready and I was still in my PJs. I ran through the house and up to my room straight into my closet. I still have no clue what Gee has planned so I just grab one of the first things I find. I throw on my All Time Low t-shirt, some black skinny jeans, and then some Converse. Once I finish I headed back downstairs after I brush my teeth and throw my hair up into a messy bun. I still have some time to spare so I run down to the studio that my dad has in the basement and grab my guitar that was left there so few nights ago. As I sit down on the bench I start to strum some chords. I didn't realize what song I was playing until the words filled my voice.

Mayday situation overload

I'm restless, obsessed with your future

And all my worries they don't bother you

Collected, you render me useless

But I carry on

Right now, I think that you think that I'm

Half drunk, searching for something of

Substance, casually dropping a line, designed

To keep you next to me

I can't awkwardly craft in advance

I know, that you wouldn't fall for that

You say "Shut up and take my hand"

And we carry on

I don't wanna say goodnight

The city comes alive, when we're together

Why can't Thursday last forever

I don't wanna say goodnight

I've never been so sure

Just do it for the memories

Do it for Baltimore

And do it for me

Hot damn, look at me now

I'm all, caught up riding the high of my

Good luck, casually dropping a line, designed,

To keep you next to me

I bet you never thought you would fall again

So much for keeping this, just friends

Shut up and kiss me now

And we carry on

I don't wanna say goodnight

The city comes alive, when we're together

Why can't Thursday last forever

I don't wanna say goodnight

I've never been so sure

Just do it for the memories

Do it for Baltimore
