This was the craziest day ever. I swear. Dylan and I had come into close proximity multiple times and now we had actually kissed. KISSED KISSED. Like freaking made out kissed.

I wanted him. He made me want him. He kissed me like I was oxygen and he was drowning. It was so hot and I felt needed. I wanted to fight this feeling but it was so hard to resist. Thank goodness classes and work started tomorrow. We needed time and space to think things through, well, I know I did anyway. The thing that made me worry the most was that we had only known each other for a week so far yet look at us. Was this wrong since it was too fast? Was it all just lust? I really needed a girl to girl talk. I knew Lia would kill me for not telling her about this earlier. I smiled at the thought and texted her, making sure to tell her not to call me right this instant since Dylan was home and I knew she would freak out and call if I hadn't told her not to. I chuckled at her full caps lock response and we texted for a while and agreed we would meet up for coffee at uni tomorrow.

I fell asleep thinking of how sweet it was that he had noticed how much I had wanted those cookies...and of what had occurred afterwards...

"GIRL."

I laughed.

"This is not funny!" She scowled. "You should have told me earlier! My gosh!"

"Okay okay I'm sorry. I guess I just forgot with all that going on."

"Fair enough." She chuckled. "Nah it's all good girlfriend. Seriously though, this is big news! Great news!"

I had just told Lia EVERYTHING

"It is?"

She looked at me incredulously.

"Hell yes it is! My best friend is finally dating ag-."

"Woah woah! Stop right there!"

"What?" She muttered impatiently as I interrupted her excited rant. She was still grinning.

"We're not dating."

She gave me an exasperated look.

"Girl."

I sighed. "I've only known him for a week Lia, isn't that too short? I don't even know what his true intentions are."

"Hmm...you're right. It has only been a week."

I was glad she understood what I meant, that's why we were best friends after all.

"Don't shut him out though. Just go with the flow, get to know him. Tell him your boundaries. See how he reacts. Spend time together, not that that's hard." She chuckled. "But you get the gist of it yes?"

"Yeah." I smiled. "What about mum though?" I laughed nervously.

Lia sniggered. "From what you said it seems she might already know he's not gay. But don't worry about that for now, we'll deal with that later."

"True." I chuckled. "That woman's smart as hell."

We sat in silence for a few moments savoring our coffee, lost in our thoughts.

"And don't be afraid to ask Dylan what you guys are either okay? I remember asking Darren back in the day." She giggled. "It was nerve wracking yes, but worth it. It's better than over thinking everything."

I nodded. "Okay Lia."

"And keep me updated! I want details woman! Details!"

I laughed. "Of course, I wouldn't want to face your wrath again you weirdo."

"You know it!" She chuckled. "But I also want to make sure you're okay hun." She smiled gently and I could see a tinge of sadness and regret in it.

I squeezed her hand. "It wasn't your fault."

She didn't say anything; just smiled.

A short while later we hugged and parted ways as it was time for class.

I couldn't concentrate properly and my stomach was twisted in a knot of nerves and butterflies. I was nervous to see him yet at the same time I couldn't wait. I sighed and wrote random notes in my notebook until the lecture was finally over and I headed to the gym for a short shift.

It wasn't too busy today and for that I was grateful. It was dark by the time my shift ended but that was why I got a job there. I didn't have to walk home in the dark, just had to take the lift and I was home.

The smell of food greeted me as I opened the door and I found myself smiling. I felt a tad bad though since he had cooked yet again.

"Firehead! Just in time for dinner."

I chuckled. "Hi gay guy." I made my way into the kitchen astounded at my own words.

'What the hell Sofira, where was this coming from??'

He was wearing a pair of shorts and a charcoal grey T-shirt. He looked so good in whatever he wore. I blushed and sat down nervously as he smirked. "Feisty still huh."

I felt my blush deepen and laughed.
