Chapter 5

"Boruto..?" Sarada said softly 'I can't believe it! I found him..!' "Sarada..?" Boruto was also surprised to see her. Sarada put her shaking hand on Boruto's whiskered cheek hoping that he wasn't another shadow clone and when he wasn't Sarada hugged him tight while tears came out of her eyes "Boruto..! It really is you!" Sarada cried. Boruto slowly wrapped his arms around Sarada returning the hug then stood up and helped her off the ground "Heh...." He smiled slightly "I see your hair has gotten longer..." He took a piece of Sarada's black hair that was now down to her shoulders, Sarada blushed "Your hair got a bit longer" She giggled when she saw him blush too "Y-Yeah..."

*Sarada POV* I looked around us trying to avoid looking at him as I thought the situation felt a little awkward, when I did finally look at Boruto he was staring at my shoulder "What?" He hesitated for a minute but then took my jacket sleeve off of my shoulder revealing the scar from our fight two years ago "I-I did that..." Boruto said sadly "I'm sorry...." I looked up at him and smiled "That was in the past and I forgive you...." I then looked at the ground 'I'm going to bring him back..' "Boruto maybe now you can-" "Sarada!" We both looked behind me to see Himawari and the gang running over to us but stopping in their tracks when they saw Boruto

"Boruto...." Himawari said softly, he sighed and opened his arms wide "Ok..I know you want to hug me so just come at-Whoa!" Before he could finish that sentence Himawari ran towards Boruto and tackled him to the ground in a hug. She hugged him tightly while sobbing and saying his name over and over again. Himawari then gave him a death glare that made all of us, including him, get nervous "Boruto...why the hell did you leave?!" She asked while shaking him violently "Everyone has been worried sick! You almost killed Sarada! She didn't come out of her room for a week! You are a lucky man Uzumaki for her to still be in love with you!" Boruto quickly ran and hid behind me after Himawari let him go "Ok Himawari...c-calm down.." Shikidai said and took her hand "Let's give the lovebirds some space...." Boruto and I glared at him but soon we were left alone.

*Boruto POV* Sarada was looking down like she wanted to say something "Sarada I-" "Boruto I-" We both said at the same time "Sorry you first" I said and she took a deep breath "Boruto....you need to come back to the village..." my heart throbbed when she said that. I want to..I really want to..but.. "I can't.." I said, Sarada quickly looked up tears in her eyes "Boruto please..! It's been two years..!" She begged which was something she never did to me. I sighed and was about to say something else when we both heard something, we ran towards the sound to see my team and her team in a fighting stance "Boruto-kun!" Sumire exclaimed as she saw Sarada and I coming down the hill towards them "Whoa! Whoa! What's going on here?!" I asked as I put distance between my team and hers

Kurama was about to explain but I just shook my head "You know what, it doesn't matter let's just go" I said and started to walk away, the last thing I want to do was fight Sarada again but Sarada grabbed my arm stopping me "Boruto..wait.." I turned around and saw Sarada with pleading eyes

Sarada looked down at the ground as tears fell from her face "Come back...please.." Boruto sighed and looked away not wanting to face her "I ca-" he began again but Sarada interrupted "It doesn't have to be for me..! But come back..for Himawari and your Dad.." She whispered. Boruto looked to the ground also "I'm sorry Sarada..but I'm not coming back.." Sarada gritted her teeth and tightened her grip on Boruto's arm "Then I guess...I don't have any other choice.." Boruto knew what was going to happen and slowly reached for his kunai and took it out, gripping it tightly. Sarada looked up to Boruto with tears stains on her face and her sharingan activated "I told you..I'm going to bring you back, even if I have to break all your bones and drag you back to Konoha.."
