Meeting Up

Courtney's POV

So Saturday past which was a great day in a while. My cousin Angela(Let's just pretend she does) had a sleepover which was pretty stress relieving. She took my mind off the whole thing. It was great until she had to go back to Virginia Sunday morning.
It was really nice seeing her again.
Today's gonna be a good day since nothings happening.
Courtney's Mom- Courtney get dressed!
I walk downstairs shocked,maybe we are gonna go to my grandmas house.
Courtney-Why?
Courtney's Mom-Because today we are going to meet up with Shayne's parents for the whole day so we get to know each other better.
As she finishes her sentence my mouth immediately drops.
Courtney-Why?!

Shayne's POV
Shayne-Why?!
Shayne's Mom-So we know what type of family they are.
Shayne-They're just a mom and 2 daughter family who are like any normal family. That's all you need to know!
Shayne's Mom-I want to get to know them,personally. So go get changed or your not going to Germany to see you friend Damien!
Shayne-Fine!
I walk up to my room so I don't miss my chance in meeting up with my best friend.

Courtney's POV
I'm changed and ready to go.
So apparently we are gonna do this
Breakfast
Park
Lunch
Shayne's House
Dinner there
And then our House for some MORE TALKING!!
I hate my life right now!

Courtney's Mom-Cmon Courtney!
Courtney-Why can't Kari come?!
Courtney's Mom-Because she's not the one tutoring and she has to study for a test.
We walk out the door and into the car.
I'm obviously dreading this day
I can't wait till it's over.

After about 20 minutes we make it to a breakfast restaurant

We spot them and

Courtney's Mom-Hello Guys
Shayne's mom-Hello
She extends her hand to my mom and then to me
Shayne's Mom-You must be Courtney?
Courtney-Yes,please to meet you
Shayne's Mom-This is my son Shayne
Shayne-Hi Courtney
Courtney-Hi
Courtney's Mom-So have you too like talked to each other before or is it the first.
I didn't know what to say so I stayed quiet and signaled Shayne to say something.
Shayne-Ahh yes we have but we don't talk often.
Shayne's Mom-Well alright then
Our tables this way.
She led us to the table where my mom sat next to her mom
So I had to sit next to...Shayne
Courtney-This was you idea wasn't it!
I whisper
Shayne-What! You think I wanted this?
Courtney-I don't know? Maybe? Just so you can harass me more.
Shayne-Shup up!
Courtney-Whatever
We stayed silent for most of the time. We ordered food
Ate it
And then drove to the park where my mom and his mom went for a walk while we were left at the playground benches like children.
This wasn't a popular park so today there wasn't any kids there
I walk up onto the playground and go near the slide and sit there texting Noah
C-Hey Noah
N-Hey Court
C-What you doing?
N-Just chillin at Keith's
C-Oh,sorry I didn't mean to disturb
N-Nah it's ok,he's getting something out of his garage so your fine.
C-Ok
N-By the way,what happened at school?
C-Oh
N-Cmon,tell me please?
C-Shayne,he's just constantly bulling and harassing me and calling me names and touching me.
N-WHAT!
C-It's fine,I've pulled up with his sh*t so I'm fine
N-No! That's horrible! We need to tell someone!
C-Noah! Please don't!
N-Courtney I gotta
C-Why?!
N-...
C-Why?! Tell me! I know you want to help but,I wanna finish this myself.
N-Please Courtney!?
C-Answer my god damn question! Why?!
N-Because...
C-Well!

C-Im confused about Shayne and all of this sorry
C-Goodbye Noah.... 💔😕
I turn off my phone and I'm in complete shock
One of my best friends love me,and I don't love them the same way they do.
I stand up and decide to go sit on the benches instead.
On the way down I slip and fall down the slide which hurt like hell,but maybe not as much as I hurt Shayne by accident by falling and hitting him in his dick
Shayne-jesus F*ckin christ!!
Courtney-Sorry I didn't mean to! I slipped!
Shayne-Did you really! That hurt like hell!
Courtney-I know and I'm sorry!
Shayne-F*ck!
Courtney-If your not gonna accept the apology then I did it on purpose you a*shole!
I start to walk away when I'm pulled under the playground next to the slide by Shayne
Courtney-What the f*ck Shayne!
Shayne-Shut up!
He says it in a whisper.
He pulls me near the slide  where there's a little barrier
Courtney-What's wrong
I say trying to get up but Shayne holds me down.
Shayne-There's a guy with a gun who was walking Around  the park.
Courtney-What the hell! We gotta get out of here.
He doesn't say anything but pull me closer.
My back is touching his chest and I can feel his breath on my neck.
I don't know why but it felt nice,I felt safe.
Shut up!!
First Noah now a guy with a gun
I hear footsteps come closer to where we are and I feel Shayne's arms around my waist tighten.
We heard the guy go away and me and Shayne called the police to report and by then our moms came back

At Shayne's House

Shayne's mom had cooked a delicious dinner and then they talked even more
Shayne's Mom-Shayne? Why don't you show Courtney you room so you guys can talk in private
Shayne-Fine.
He takes my hand and leads me upstairs and holding his hand reminds me of when he did on the first day of school. Back when we were friends. It felt nice to feel like what we did when we were friends.
He lets go and opens the door with him entering first.
Shayne-Tad-a, there's my room

He sits on his chair which he has next to his desks.
I look around the room and notice he has a lot of scripts as if he's auditioning
Courtney-So,you still like to act?
I say holding one of his scripts
Shayne-Yes
After that we don't talk and sit in a silence
It's not awkward nor is it peaceful
(Guys I felt real fancy when I said nor... heh😅)
We get called down and we all go to my house and talk MORE
My sister Kari comes down and sees Shayne
Kari-Pssst
I go over to her and she asks
Kari-Why are you making a big deal. He's cute go for it!
Courtney-Nooo
I go downstairs and turn on the tv that Shayne and I peacefully watch until he goes home
Courtney-Phew!!! Finally!
I go up to my room and get ready for bed
Courtney-Thanks Shayne for not giving me a rough time today
And with that I fall asleep.
