Middle School

(AN-This chapter is just gonna be a rundown through her day so it's gonna be boring but, it'll get better eventually)

Courtney's POV
I woke up early. Refreshed by the thought of the new school year. I had waited sooo long to see my friends, since I wasn't able to over the summer. (Aka Strict Parents)
I got up looked at my brand new clothes. I got ready and did my hair. I just wanted to get out of the house. I ate breakfast and waited for my siblings to get up and change.
So I decided to pass the time writing in my diary.
Dear Diary,
Today's the first day of school, I'm kinda excited ,but mostly because of my friends(Olivia,Noah,Keith,Mari,and Erika.)
But as of now I'm currently waiting on my brothers and sisters.
I'm also listening to my parents fight.
I hate seeing them like this.
Sometime I wish... I wish I wasn't apart of this family.
I love them and all but, my parents fight too much about every thing. Well wish me luck on my first day.
I go downstairs when my parents called me so we could go to school already.

At school
I arrive at school where I see most of my friends except for Keith and Mari. They should be here soon.
I head over to them and we start talking
Courtney-Hey guys,I've missed you so much!
Olivia- Hi Courtney,I haven't seen you since the promotion party! I've missed my other half!
The rest of us just hugged and in moments joined Keith and Mari.
The bell rings and we all head to our classes. My first class is Homeroom( We call it advisory,but I'll put homeroom for less complications)
Our teacher told us that we would be picking out our lockers and changing today,but we were only gonna stretch and run a lap. Which wasn't bad. I ended up getting P.E with Mari,which was nice.
There was this kid,I think his name was Shayne? Idk.
But he had to run another lap for disrupting the class with a joke. Ugh,he's so annoying.
Mari-Hey Courtney were gonna do a quick game of frisbees with partners,let go get one!
Courtney-Okay,yeah,lets go
Bell Rings
I get to the locker room and start to change. A bit self conscious about my body. So I changed quick as well as Mari.
We head outside and I head to my next class.
Science
I had science with none of my friends but there was that Shayne guy. I hope she lets us pick our seats
I'm outside her class and enter
Mrs.Olivas-Hi,go ahead and pick the empty seat next to.... uhh?...... Shayne? Right?
Shayne- Yeah
Courtney-Okay
Ugh, he's the one I wanted to avoid. I sit next to him and get out materials because we were gonna fix up our notebooks.
Shayne-Hey do you have a glue I could borrow?
Courtney-Ummmm? Sure,just make sure to give it back.
I give him the glue, even though I didn't want to. But I decided that just because he's a jerk doesn't mean I will be one too
Bell Rings

I head to my 3rd period
Math
As I was walking I noticed that Shayne was following me. I thought he was gonna start to bully me. From what I heard, he got into a lot of trouble. I didn't want to be involved in that.
I turn around and face him.
Courtney- Could you stop following me, it's really creepy. And don't..
Shayne-I'm not following you! I'm heading to my next class you weirdo.
He walks past me and enters the room I'm going to
Ughhhhhhh not again.
Give me a break!
I just embarrassed myself by assuming
I walk into the classroom.
I see Shayne already making friends. I sit behind these two girls named Krystal and Faith. They seem really nice.
Our math teacher Mrs. Leonard picks our seats and my seat was next to him.
Why! I ask for one thing!
Shayne-Hello Courtney,do you want me to follow you to lunch.
Courtney-Shut up! It was a misunderstanding!
Shayne-Whatever
Shayne is so....! Frustrating!
At least I still sit behind the two girls.
Bell Rings
I head out and notice that Shayne's following me again.
Courtney-Listen I thought you meant it as a joke when you said you'd follow me to lunch!
Shayne- It kinda is and kinda not. I have 1st lunch
Courtney-Ok, just leave me alone

Shayne's POV
That girl is crazy. And she assumes too much. Idk. I hope I have my other classes without her

Courtney's POV
I head over to the cafeteria when I see Erika and Olivia
I guess they have first lunch.
Courtney-Hey guys!
Erika and Olivia-Hey Courtney!
We all ran to each other and hugged
We get in the lunch line and talk about how our day has been going so far
Courtney- There's this one guy...
Olivia-And you like him
Erika- Oooooooh
Courtney-No, that guy is so annoying and has been in every single on of my classes so far. And it's really annoying!
Olivia- Don't think about it.
Erika- Yeah and if he starts to bother you just let us know
Courtney-Thanks guys
We get our lunch and talk about what we did over the summer
Bell Rings
I head to my elective next
Which is Drama
I check around and make sure the coast is clear of any Shayne
Our teacher Mrs.Blair is so nice
Mrs.Blair-Alright kids let me take role

When I heard his name..... I just decided to give up. He's probably in the rest of my classes
But I don't get it?

Shayne- Hey Courtney
Courtney-Why are you here
Shayne- I chose drama as my elective,why else?
Courtney-Listen bug me all you want in other classes,just not this one. I love acting
Shayne- I love acting too
Courtney- Whatever
We continue and she kinda just talks to us about what plays we will doing,what are the parts of stage and all that type of stuff.
Bell Rings
I have history next. I walk down the stairs and notice that Shayne's going the exact same direction
This time I'm "following" him
Shayne-Listen Courtney. I don't know who you are, but stop following me.
He said that in like a very girly and obnoxious voice
Courtney- Shut up Shayne!
One we are down the stairs he stops walking for a second then continues leaving him walking next to me.
He did something really weird. I didn't like it one bit
He holds my hand for about 3 seconds
And pull away and walk faster

Shayne's POV
As we are down the stairs I take my chance and tease her a bit
I hold her hand and she tugs away after 3 seconds and starts to walk faster.
I like her as a friend cause she's fun to mess with.

Courtney's POV
I walk into the room with only two seats left.
NO NO NO NO NO
I don't wanna sit next to that jerk
Shayne walks in and sits down
I'm still standing there until the teacher asks me to sit down.
I look over to Shayne and he's patting the seat next to him
Ughhhhhhh Why me?
I then notice that I have Erika,Mari,and Noah in this class with me. Thank God
I sit next to him and hope this period goes by faster than the others.
Surprisingly it did and I was on to my next period.
I didn't care anymore. He's bound to have Language art with me
I was correct
We obviously sat next to each other and he sat there like nothing was wrong
He pretty annoying but he's cool... I guess...
Bell Rings
I was the first out the door and outside where I see my friends
My beautiful friends
I've longed to see them since 2nd period
I run to them but before I make it Shayne tugs my backpack and walk away
I look at him and.....! He's frustrating
I run to my friends and hug them
We all walk to this park that we decided to meet at.
Guess what???
You wouldn't believe me if I told you this?!

I told my friends that I decided to go home cause I was really tired which I was
I walk home
Go inside
Get a snack
Eat it
And
I plop onto my bed like nothing else matters
It was a long day
