"Jasmine." Floyd sighed

"N-not now please?" She spoke weakly

He sighed and nodded his head. He planted a kiss on her forehead.

"I'm happy your okay baby girl." He whispered

Everyone one by one came and gave her some love. When Justin approached her Gervonta watched them intensely. Jasmine wore a big smile on her face and held his hand.

"Shorty you had me so scared." Justin sighed sitting in the chair next to the hospital bed

"I was scared my damn self." Jasmine sighed as she felt Reek climb out of the bed

Reek made his way to where the others were standing. Him and Gervonta found themselves glaring at each other. Reek knew who Gervonta was and Gervonta knew who Reek was, Jasmine told him about Reek when they first met, both males ready to pop off at any moment. Jaielle picked up on the tension and took it upon herself to pull Gervonta to the side.

"Don't do this." She said

"What are you talking about?" He rolled his eyes

"You about to fight these boys. Don't do it." She said

"I'm not. I want to but I'm not." He said

Jaielle nodded her head not to confident that he won't pop off any second.

"Hey guys maybe we should give Gervonta and Jasmine a moment." Demiyah spoke

Justin sighed and stood uo from his seat.

"I'll be back." He said

"Okay." Jasmine nodded her head

He and everone else made their way out the door, well expect Gervonta and Reek.

"Reek you can go." Jasmine chuckled

"Are you sure?" He asked

Jasmine nodded her head. Reek got up off the wall and exited the room.

Gervonta stood by the door and for some reason he felt nervous.

"H-hey." He said

"Hi." Jasmine said looking down embarrassed

"We don't have to talk if you don't want to." He said sitting at the end of her hospital bed

"I want to." Jasmine said feeling her throat tighten as she fought back her tears

"Then talk to be baby." He said grabbing her hand "tell me what's wrong? Why did you do this?"

As everyone waited outside the room, Floyd pulled his sister off to the side.

"Deja, I need to tell you something." Floyd said

"What's up?" She asked

Floyd let out a sigh and ran his hands over his face.

"Just say it Floyd." Deja said

"I think it will be best if Jas stayed with me permanently." He said

"I'm sorry I don't think I heard you correctly, what did you say?" Deja said

"I think it's best if Jasmine lived with me from now on."

"Why would you think that?"

"For one, look where we are. Two, how did she get here. Three, this is not the first time either." Floyd said feeling him get angrier and angrier at his little sister

"This is not my fault." Deja said

"Yes it is, she was born addicted to the drug because of you! And you reintroduced her to it years later. You I have done nothing but put that girl in harms way and I've had enough. She is coming with me." Floyd said

"You can't take my baby from me Floyd!" Deja cried

"I wish I didn't have to Deja, I really wish I didn't have to."
