"Get up loser we are going shopping." Iyanna said barging into my room

"Girl bye, I'm tired." I said snuggling deep into my covers

"I don't care, my dad said to take you shopping for tonight." She said

"What's tonight?" I asked sitting up

"He is throwing some party to recognize some guy he sign the money team." She said looking in my closet

"Oh... Cool. Now leave." I said pulling the covers over my head

I heard silence and I thanked the Lord quietly. I slowly began to fall asleep again until I was face first on the floor.

"Thanks Koraun."

"No problem now be ready in 30 or I'm leaving without y'all."

"Koraun I thought you was my nigga?" I whined sitting up rubbing my forehead

"I am an as you right hand nigga I wasn't gone let you sleep in until noon for another day." He said walking out

"Y'all bug." I said standing up

"20 minutes Jasmine." Iyanna said walking out as well

I walked into the massive bathroom connected to my room and turned the shower on. I stood in front of the mirror and just looked at myself. I pointed out all the postives I see in me to drown out all the negatives. This is something I do every morning, it really helps me to start seeing the brighter sides of things. I got out the mirror, stripped out my clothes, and climbed into the shower.

20 minutes later

"Okay I'm ready." I said running down the stairs

"Great let's go." Koraun said standing up ad well as Iyanna

Koraun grabbed the keys to Benz and we headed towards the door.

"Baby girl come here!" My uncle yelled

Both, Iyanna and I, turned around and made our way back to him.

"Not you Iyanna, I meant Jasmine." He said

"Oh." She said and went back to her brother

Iyanna pov

"I thought dad called you." Koraun said as I got into the passenger seat

"I did too, but he meant Jasmine." I rolled my eyes

He nodded his head and started the car up. I rested my head back on the head rest. You know I love my cousin to death but she is stealing all my attention and it is starting to get on my nerves.

"You Iyanna get out and get in the back." Koraun said as Jasmine got to the passenger side door

"I'm not getting in the back, fuck that." I scoffed

"Yeah you are, now go." Koraun said unblucking my seat belt

"Why can't she get in the back?" I asked crossing my arms

"It don't matter where I fucking sit. Iyanna you wanna sit in the front go fucking ahead, just get out so I can get in the back." She said

"Fine." I said getting out and pulling the seat up for her to get in the back

She got in and let out a sigh. I pushed the seat back and got in the car again. Koraun was glaring at me. I glared right back at him.

I get that him and Jasmine are close but he is acting like she is his sister and I'm not.

"Yo Jas what did my dad want?" Koraun asked

"Nothing he just gave me some cash to spend." She shrugged

"How much?" I asked

"I don't know," she shrugged "but what I do now is that its way to much to get one outfit." She finished holding up a stack

Of course he would her that much money, he never gives me that much money. See me and Jasmine are going to have some problems

Jasmine pov

I am beyond tired, shopping with Iyanna is an all day process. We left here at 11 a.m. and why are we just now getting back home, it 5:30 p.m., and we have to be at the party at 8. That gives me no time to nap! It takes me almost an hour to get my boots on!

"Jasmine?"

"Yeah Unc?"

"Koraun told me that you had a little argument with Iyanna today." He said sitting on my bed

"I guess you can call it that." I shrugged

"What was it about?" He asked

"She claims that I am stealing you and Koraun away from her." I said

He sighed and ran his hands over his head.

"Okay I'll go talk to her." He said standing up

"No, I will." I said standing up

"Are you sure?" He asked

"Yeah." I shrugged

"Alright, hurry up so you can get ready." He said tapping my nose like when I was little

"Okay."

I exited my room right behind him and walked to Iyanna's. I knocked on the door and waited for her to yell come in. When she did I slowly opened the door.

"Yanna can we talk?" I asked

"I guess." She rolled her eyes

"Look I'm sorry if it seems like I'm taking your dad and brother from you, but they are the closest thing I have to a dad right now." I said

"What do you mean?" She raised an eyebrow

"My dad stole all my mom's money and dipped about three years ago. That's why I'm here now. We have nothing and losing everything. Your dad and brother are all I got as a male figures in my life." I explained

"J-Jasmine I didn't know, I'm so sorry." She said hugging me

"Okay now that that's over Jasmine can you come help me please?" Koraun said from the door way

"Help you with what?" I asked as Iyanna and I broke our hug
