We pulled up to his mansion and my jaw was dropped. I would most definitely get lost here.

"Come on your cousins have been waiting to see you." He said parking the car

I got out and grabbed my purse, waiting for him to lead the way. He motioned for me to follow him and he walked up to the front door. We walked inside an I became nervous. I mean I haven't seen my cousins in so long. What if they don't like me?

"They are outside, go say hi while I get your stuff." My uncle said pointing to the giant sliding door that lead out to the giant ass backyard

I grabbed my purse tighter and made my way out back. They were all laughing and messing around, not even noticing me now a couple inches in front of them.

"H-Hey guys." I spoke finally

They all stopped talking and turned towards me.

"Jazzy?" Koraun asked smiling

"Koraun?" I smiled

"My nigga." He said getting up from his seat and began walking over to me

He wrapped his arms around me tightly.

"I missed you dawg, I miss you." He mumbled into my mess I call hair

You see Koraun an I have always been super close. No matter what distance was between us, we never lost contact he even came to spend a week with me once.

"Stop hogging my cousin loser." Iyanna said pushing him off of me and pulling me into a hug now

"Yanna I missed you." I said hugging her tight

"I missed you way more. I got so much to tell you sis." She said pulling away

"Girl I'm all ears." I said sitting on the couch they had outside

"Okay so remember ole gir- no one cares Yanna." Zion interrupted her and sat on my lap

I chuckled "Little boy if you door get off of me."

"Little? I'm not little anymore cuz, I'm sixteen years old." He said standing up

"Sixteen? Damn it's been a minute. When I last saw you, you were getting ready to start 3rd grade." I said

"Now I'm in high school." He smiled

"And what you doing with ya life in high school? Still playing ball?" I asked

"You know me." He said as he started crossing over with a invisible basketball

"Boy, I'll ball you up in my sleep." I laughed leaning on Iyanna

"Care to put your money where your mouth is cousin?" He smirked

"Damn right I am." I sat up

"50 bucks, I win. 50, bucks you win." He said extending his hand

"Deal."

"I got $100 on Jasmine." Koraun said

"I got $100 on Zion." Iyanna said

"I got $50 on the both of y'all." Jirah smiled

"You was never one for competition." I laughed at her

"Competition? Betting? What's going on our here?" Uncle asked sitting outside with us

"Jasmine vs. Zion in a basketball game." Iyanna said

"Ooh I got my money on Jasmine." He smiled

"Dad!" Zion gasped

"I'm sorry son, but you'll see why after she ball you up." He laughed

"You know what I'm tired of y'all. Jasmine let's play." Zion said grabbing the basketball

"First one to twenty one?"

"Boy she broke ya ankles not once, not twice, but three times!" Koraun laughed

"Man fuck y'all." He said digging in his wallet and handed me a fifty dollar bill

"Jaz how are you so good?" Jirah asked

"A lot of practice and hard work." I said grabbing a water bottle from the table

"Are you playing still?" Iyanna asked

"No." I sighed

They then started to bombard me with questions about why I don't play anymore. I looked at my uncle for some help cause he knows why.

"Lay off the questions, I'm pretty sure she is tired and wants to start calling it a night." He said

They all groaned.

"Yeah guys, I'm tired." I said

"Come on, I'll show you to your room." Koraun said

I followed him upstairs and to my new room.

"We left it as plain as possible. We know you like to do diys and shit." He said laying on my bed

"Thanks." I said looking around

I looked down at him down at him an I could tell he has some things on his mind.

"Talk to me." I said sitting next to him

"She cheated on me." He sighed

"She cheated on you? The little Spanish ting you was with?" I gasped

He nodded his head.

"What the hell? When was this?" I asked

"Like a month ago." He sighed and sat up

"Yo I'm sorry Kor." I said hugging him

"I gave that girl two years of my life. Do you know how much pussy I passed up for her?" He groaned

"Niggas." I laughed pushing him off of me

"But I'm serious though!" He laughed

"Look Kor maybe this is what you needed. You knew she was no good for you anyways." I said

"You right."

"And who knows maybe the girl you need is closer than you think." I said

"You know for a person who always giving out relationship advice, when you getting a relationship?" He asked

"I don't know, I don't care," I shrugged "when God wants me to be in a relationship, I'll be in one."

"Loser." He laughed

"Get out." I smiled pointing to the door

"I love you cousin." He smiled hugging me and trying to kiss my cheeks

"Eww move." I laughed

"I love you too, now get off." I laughed

He let me go and smiled.

"This is going to be awesome, you living here." He said

"Yeah, yeah it will." I smiled
