A Geek and a Nerd

Dylan Screwed Up...Again.

As Nova got home from school, she looked at her phone. She messaged Dylan, tears in her eyes.

Nova~Dylibear...something happened on the way home today...

Dylan~Tell me everything.

Nova~I-I....I got raped.

Dylan~Did you come onto the dude?!

Nova~Idk...I was drinking. My friend just kinda took over me and I couldn't do anything.

Dylan~Well, your drunk self must really like him. We're through.

Nova~Dylibear! Please...it-it was just a dream. I was testing you

Nova wasn't testing him at all. She really had been taken advantage of, and she was scared. She was about to lose everything. Nova couldn't lose Dylan...not now.

Dylan~No. I haven't loved you in months. I needed an excuse to leave. Goodbye Nova. 

Nova started crying. She looked up at a nail sticking above her bed and knew what she was going to do. She took off her belt that had holes down it and put one of the holes onto the nail. She made a loop and secured it so she wouldn't get loose. She put her head in the hole and started trying to run. The belt stopped her, of course, but she kept running. Her throat began to bruise, and she started crying loudly. She heard her father walking down the hall and stopped. She hid her belt and put on her choker. She went downstairs and her father saw her neck. "Nova, what happened to your neck?!" "I feel asleep with my choker on and the fake melted caused those spots." "Be more careful, but I'm just glad you're okay." Her father shook his head and went to go make some coffee. Nova wished she had gotten away with it...she was so close. If only she didn't hear her father's voice...
