Dear kids,
Well this happened a week ago, I've just been too busy to write about it until now. I didn't go to prom this year, and yea I know that's like the biggest event of your senior year... but a circus themed prom? Give me a break! So instead I went with my friend who I've known for years to his ROTC banquet for the air force.
Quite honestly, I can't remember the last time I had so much fun. There was dancing, good food, and his friends were super nice. There's so much I'll have to tell you and show you the pictures when you're older. It was one of the best nights of my life really. (Excluding the day I marry your father, then that'll be at the top of my list). :)
Well I thought I would have more to say about Saturday but I really don't and I have a lot to get done, so this will be a super short letter again! Just know that senior year is one of the most amazing and stressful years of high school you'll ever endure. Learning to grow into an adult and being given more and more freedom and responsibilities can be a challenge at first, but I know you can do it!
Love always,
mom (18)

Non-FictionI figured I would start documenting things in my life for my kids that I have later on; what better way to do it than publish it on here for those who also need a light to shine in the dark.
