Chapter 19

2 months later....

Ryan's pov
I flutter my eyes open and find Sky cuddling me. I was glad she agreed living with me 2 months ago, what I didn't tell her was I couldn't be far away from her but I didn't want to get all mushy. Cody actually has gotten pretty big.

Sky has started working with me,
It was good having her close by. My mother hasn't popped in which kinda scares me, she's was probably planning something bigger. I had to be prepared, so I have guards everywhere even with Sky. I have my private investigators to keep an eye on my mother, so far nothing out of the ordinary. Sky keeps on telling me to stop being paranoid and to just calm down, obviously she doesn't know who my mother is and what she is capable of doing. I look back and Sky and kiss her face, trying to wake her up. She smiles and opens her eyes.
"Ryan, you always wake me up like that"

"But you like it right babe?"

"Well that I can't denied it, where's Cody?"

"In the living room....sleeping"

"He's always asleep, I'm going to have to take him on a walk today"

"I'll go with you"

"No it's-"

"I'm going with you Sky, and that's finale"

"Okay let me just change into something more comfortable"

"I'm going to change also"
She grabs her clothes and walks to the bathroom. I pull out my clothes and change.

I was way faster then Sky so I decided to wait for her downstairs. I grabbed Cody's leash making his tail wag.

"You know already don't you?"

He barks making me chuckle, just on time Sky walks out and holy shit...she looks hot.

I couldn't stop staring at her, she cleared her throat damn, did I make it that obvious!!! She laughs and walks over to me
"You sir, need to learn not to check me out so obvious"

"I can't help it babe, your just so beautiful"

"Alright lets go before we get distracted"

"I don't mind at all"

"Ryannnnnnn!!!!!!"

"Alright, alright lets go before Cody gets impatient"

I take her hand in mine as we walk Cody around our neighborhood. We actually taught him how to walk well, and also many other things like sit, lay,handshake, roll over, speak and the list just keeps going. Sky trained him, she works great with animals. I helped too but It looked like Sky can do it on her own, she is a independent women. We were just around the corner when we see a group of 4 guys standing there, they looked very suspicious as if they were waiting for someone. I looked over to Sky and She looked at me with worry eyes

"Ryan how about we go the other way?"

"No, they won't hurt you. I'll protect you"

She nods her head and we began walking towards them. Cody starts barking at them making them look our way. The guys point at Sky and knew that they were after her. I knew who did this. My mother. I pulled Sky behind me as they started to swing at me, they were too many. I was busy fighting 2 guys when I heard Sky's scream. I turn and find the guys trying to take her. I punch the last guy and run to them

"GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY GIRL!!!"
They look surprise which gives me an advantage to punch the guy in the jaw. The other guy let's go of Sky's arm and runs off. Sky wouldn't stop crying as she hugs Cody

"Babe are you okay?"

"I-Im fine but T-They K-kicked Cody and I t-think he's hurt"

I check Cody and notice one if his legs might be broken

"It's okay, you guys are both safe. That's all that matters"

I hug her tight and whisper sweet things to her so she can calm down.

Again my mom tries to hurt Sky, and I'm starting to get tired of it....

This has to end.....
