Chapter 17

Sky's pov
I wake up with zero energy. I had different emotions sad, confused, mad, and sacred but not of Ryan but something that could of happen to him. I kept replaying everything that has happened yesterday, and the only thing suspicious was that person he was talking to on his phone. Could that person done something? A threat? I wanted to see Ryan, I wanted to be there for him. I don't know if we're still together but I'm not giving up. So I was heading to Ryan's office, not to work but to talk. So I change into something simple and I also take Cody with me. I don't care if there's no dogs allowed, he can't stay here all by him self. He's still little. Anyway, I change and drive to Ryan's company.

When I was there, I felt nervous. I was scared he might lash out on me, but I knew he wouldn't do that right? I say hi to Sarah and make my way to Ryan's office, I knock on his door and hear a "come in" I open the door and there he is and he looks awful. He has bags under his eyes, his eyes are bloodshot red, hair is messy, and there's paper all over the place. He looks up and me and his eyes go wide
"Sky! You came and you brought Cody"
"I did, I wanted to talk....about....us"
"Of course, I think I should go first"
"Go ahead"
"I'm so sorry for what I did yesterday, after I got home I couldn't sleep. I was all night thinking about you and i wasn't even gonna go to work but I thought you were going to be here so I did and I was wrong. I miss you"
"Ryan....I was in pain, I kept asking myself what was happening to you,
If someone did something to you, I kept replaying yesterday's incident. What's happening to you Ryan? You can trust me, I won't judge you"
"Okay I'll tell you"
We sat down and I place Cody on my lap as he told me EVERYTHING.
"Why would your mom do this?"
"She wants me to become the greatest, so she wants me to marry someone who is rich and has power"
"And what are you going to do?"
"I'm not going to do it. Sky your my happiness, my everything. I won't let her take it away"
"Ryan but I don't want her to do anything to you"
"She won't, Sky I want you. I'm sorry for yesterday"
"Ryan I forgive you, I now understand everything and I believe you and know you aren't like that. Your different"
"Does that mean I can call you babe?"
"Absolutely Ryan"
"Then may I give you a kiss babe?"
"Go ahead"
He kisses me soft. Oh, how I missed his sweet lips on mine

I was actually kinda scared that his mom will separate us, but with Ryan by my side, we are strong. Cody started barking making me and Ryan pull away
"What's up buddy? You jealous?"
He picks up Cody and hugs him. Cody licks his face, as I pick up the papers on the floor and stack them up nicely on his desk. I was going to finish when Ryan grabs my hand
"Babe, you don't have to pick up my mess"
"I just can't stand seeing stuff in the floor, plus I'm still your personal assistant right?"
"Alright, alright but I'm helping you"
"Be my guest"
We picked up the papers and basically cleaned his whole office.
After that I picked up Cody and Ryan intertwine our hands together as we exited the company.

But as we were on our way to the elevator I see a lady maybe in her 50s standing there with 2 body guards. We stop and I turn to Ryan and he looks pissed.
"Ryan, what are you doing with her?"
Offended I ask her
"Who are you?"
"His mother"
After hearing those words, I felt like everything came crashing down. Ryan knew because he hugged me tight

And we weren't gonna let her get away with it.
