You look at me in a way no one has ever before. Like I'm a mystery, a puzzle, something to solve. You smile at me in a way that no one has before. smiling is setting a prisoner free you say. Hurricanes of emotion when you walk past me, I'm going to miss that. Running past you at odd hours and small talk. Morning coffees in the cold. You came in winter and brought with you spring. A season of renewal and change. Tell me what it takes for a boy to become a man because you are caught, conflicted on emotion. You thrive on the attention, growing flourishing. Yet when you are alone the doubts become anguish and self hatred. I'm going to miss that  our glances and sweet convos. I'm going to miss that, and you.
