Being the only child and the only one at home and I was bored, I decided to play color switch on my phone. Ammi called saying they just left katsina to kaduna.
"But it's 5:30pm,don't you think it's late?
"It is, but your Dada insisted we leave today cause you're the only one at home,don't worry" she said
"Ok safe" I said then hung up

I'm worried sick, it's almost 11pm and they're still not back, just then Uncle Suleiman barged into the house without a salaam, he looked worried. Hurriedly, went to him.
"What's wrong uncle S? I asked
Instead of replying me, he told me to pick up my hijab and meet him outside, I obeyed as I hurriedly went up to my room and wore a long navy blue hijab.
We entered his rolls royce and he drove to only God knows as I was busy trying to reach Ammi on phone, but its still not going through.
"Are we going to havillah" i thought
"Uncle S can you please call Dada on your phone"
"Uhm??"
"Both their phones are not going through" I added
"No network maybe" he replied
Before I could ask anything again, he parked the car and that's when reality hit me that we were in Giwa Hospital.
"What are we doing here? I asked
But he ignored me and walked into the hospital, I felt a pang in my heart but I decided to recite Aytul kursiyy

"Kullu nafsin za'ikatul maut" that's the first thing I heard when I opened my eyes.
"Take heart,every soul shall taste death"Aunty Reedah said
"Where's my Ammi and Dada"? I asked weakly
"Your Ammi and Dada are dead" Mrym blurted
"Innalillahi wa'ina ilaihi raji'un" I slowly said
My Papi,my hero,my true king,my love,my heart and my Ammi,my momma,my first love,my woman crush,my human diary,my everything.....I love them so much!!!They're dead,who will take care of me?Who will jog with me early in the morning?Who will cook all the delicious food for me? Who will hear my stupidity???
