The three of us stood by the door waiting. Wasn't long before they came back. As soon as the door opened, Glenn advanced at Merle while I went for the other guy that came with him. I pinned him up against the wall and dove my walker bone into the side of his neck, his blood spewing all over the place. The gun that he had then started firing before finally collapsing on the floor while the man died. I looked over at Maggie to make she was all right. She was. Merle had gotten the advantage on Glenn because of the weak state he was in. Merle had Glenn pinned to the floor, his hand blade right by his neck. Maggie picked up the gun that belonged to the man I had just killed and raised it.

"Let him go!" she commanded.

Merle looked to his side then said, "Okay."

Before I could see what he was looking at, there were more people who came and clicked their guns. Maggie and I turned and looked at them. Merle then stood up and took the gun away from Maggie.

"Get up!" he ordered at Glenn.

Merle made us all kneel. They paced between the three of us. The other guys that had come to his aid had their guns pointed behind our heads.

"Glad we could catch up," Merle said.

Maggie was crying again. I reached out for her hand and she held it firmly in mine.

"Just keep looking at me," Glenn said just as he reached for Maggie's other hand.

A bag was then put over my head.

"I love you," I heard Maggie say.

Someone had taped my hands together. I was sure they did the same to Glenn and Maggie.

"On your feet, move! Let's go, come on," a man behind me yelled.

Someone then grabbed hold of my arm and pulled me up and led me in a direction I couldn't make out. There was suddenly a loud explosion that made us all shout. I had managed to get the bag off of my head to see there was smoke everywhere. I started coughing trying to strain my eyes to make out the figures in front of me. Daryl was there pulling me towards him. He cut the tape I had around my hands. I turned to see Rick reaching for Glenn and Maggie. They led the way out. Gunfire was exchanged but we had reached the exit by then. Rick was struggling to carry Glenn with a gun in his hand.

"I've got him. You keep an eye out," I said taking Rick's place.

Maggie and I were now helping Glenn keep his balance.

"Inside, quick!" Rick whispered harshly.

We had made it to a building close by. As soon as we got inside, Glenn undid his arm around my shoulder and collapsed on the floor. Maggie, quick to be by his side. I was finally able to see who was with us. Rick, Daryl, and Oscar.

"Ain't no way out back here," Daryl said.

"Rick how did you find us?" Maggie asked.

"How bad are you hurt?" Rick asked.

"I'll be all right," Glenn replied.

"Amelia," he said bending down to look at me.

"I'm fine, Rick. I'm fine," I said.

He hugged me then.

"Where's that woman?" Maggie asked.

"What woman?" I asked.

"She was right behind us," Rick said.

"What woman?" I asked again.

"She led us here. Saw the three of you get taken," Daryl said.

Rick looked out the window. Trying to figure out some way we could make it out.

"Maybe she was spotted. Want me to go look for her?" Daryl asked.

"No. We gotta get them out of here. She's on her own," Rick replied.

"Daryl, this was Merle. It was. He did this. Hit Amelia more than once," Glenn said.

Maggie had found a hoodie to give to Glenn. I saw the look on Daryl's face change almost instantly.

"You saw him?" Rick asked.

"Face to face. Threw a walker at me. He was gonna execute us," Glenn replied.

"S-so my brother's this governor?" Daryl asked.

"No. It's somebody else," Maggie said.

"Your brother's like his second in command or something," I said still looking at Daryl.

"Does he know I'm still with you?" Daryl asked looking at Glenn and Maggie.

"He does now. Rick, I'm sorry. We told him where the prison was. We couldn't hold out," Glenn said.

"We didn't have a choice," I added.

"Don't. No need to apologize," Rick said.

"We have to get going you guys. We can't stay here," I said.

"They're gonna be looking for us," Maggie said.

"We have to get back. Can you walk? We got a car a few miles out," Rick said making his way to Glenn.

"I'm good," Glenn replied.

"All right," Rick said.

Maggie, Rick and I helped Glenn to his feet.

"Hey, if Merle's around, I need to see him," Daryl interjected.

My heart couldn't help but break for Daryl. I understood why he needed to see his brother. From what I had gathered, he hadn't seen his brother in a long time.

"Not now. We're in hostile territory," Rick said.

"He's my brother. I ain't..." Daryl started.

"Look at what he did!" Rick said cutting him off.

"We gotta go you guys," I said looking outside at people running all over the place.

"Maybe I can talk to him. Maybe I can work something out," Daryl said.

I looked over at him and he had this deep longing on his face.

"No, no, no. You're not thinking straight. Look, no matter what they say, they're hurt. Glenn can barely walk. How are we gonna make it out if we get overrun by walkers and this governor catches up to us? I need you," Rick said trying to sound as reasonable as possible.

"We need you," I said walking up to them.

He looked at me and then at Rick.

"Are you with me?" Rick asked.

"Yeah," Daryl replied.

I couldn't stop myself from what I did next. I wrapped my arms around Daryl and hugged him tight. When I realized what I had done I quickly pulled away. He didn't shove me away which I was quietly happy about.

"Um...Okay what do you guys have that we could use?" I asked turning to face Rick.

"We've got some grenades like the ones we used to get you three out. Here," Rick said as he handed me a gun.

"We're doing this. On three. Stay tight. One, two, three" Rick said.

As soon as he said 'three' Daryl opened the door and threw a grenade in front of him. We waited a bit so more smoke could emerge.

"Let's go!" Rick ordered.

We all ran outside, following close behind Rick. Our weapons at the ready.
