Eliza turned the computer towards me. There were a bunch of news articles on the screen. "Girl Kidnapped By Stalker," "Stalker Goes Crazy," "Love Story Gone Wrong," "Stalker Sentenced To Life On Probation." I couldn't believe it. Piper was telling the truth. I was such a jerk to her. All of Piper's past was hitting me like a giant wave. If only I would've believed her! I could've protected her! Or at least I would've tried harder to!
"Do you know where they could possibly be?" I asked Eliza.
"Sadly no...but knowing who did it does help. We'll check out his dorm, visit his old house, and anything else we can possibly do. We will find them. These two cases have to be connected...I think Chad was using Daisy to get closer to Piper."
"Just please do everything on your power to find them." I begged.
"We will do our best. That's all I can tell you."
"Thank you, officer...thank you."
I walked out of the police station with knots in my stomach. Wherever they are, I hope they're ok...
