Violet had only been on summer holiday for a few short weeks, and yet she was loving every minute of it!! Her friends had made it twice as fun and she wasn't even missing being the school bully yet!!
Everything was just so bright and colourful this time of year. Violet was lucky enough to slip out of her shift at the pizzaria to visit her friends. On this particular day, her group of friends were going swimming in the giant lake in the woods.
She was making her way down the dirt pathway, she hadn't really been swimming before. She obviously knew how to swim!! Duh!! But she just....didn't do it often.
"Violet!!" Violet turned her head to see a famialir brown haired girl running towards her.
"Heya Kayla!!" Violet greeted, messing up the smaller girls hair."What are you doing here? I thought you had a shift at the pizzeria today?" The purple girl gave a somewhat cheeky smile and looked to her side as she spoke "Hmmmm, I may or may not have snuck away when no one was looking...."
Kayla looked unimpressed "Really Violet? What would Charles say?" Violet waved her hand at her as she continued down the path. "PFFT!! Ring ring wouldn't have done anything!!"
Kayla sighed "Anyway, you going to the lake?" "Yeah actually, I brought snacks!!" Kayla lightly shook her sailor moon back pack and Violet gave a small laugh
".....you still have that thing?" She mused "Hey!! I get rid of the bag when I say I get rid of it!!" She puffed out her cheeks, trying her best to look intimidating. But to Violets utter amusement she resembled something close to an angry kitten.
"Did you bring pastries?" Violet asked as she smiled down at her "After the last 60 times you asked me last time we all went out together how COULD I forget?" Kayla gave a smug smile up at Violet and she playfully punched the girls shoulder.
"Hey girls!!!" They came along the lake, they walked down the path onto a small clearing. The lake was still and the atmosphere was peaceful, well, despite the laughter and splashing of Harry and Linda. Charles was reading happily next to a rock.
Violet gave a small evil cackle and rubbed her hands together, before she stealthily sneaked up behind he rock. Charles was oblivious to her present and turned the page in his book.
"Guess who?~" Violet snaked her arms around his head and the boy jolted, dropping his door in the grass. "V.....Violet?" Violet snickered and did a gun finger at him, sliding out from behind the rock and sitting next to him.
"Bingo!!" Charles gave a small laugh and picked up his book, brushing it off before returning to his reading. "Why read??! Come on I wanna go swimming!!"
Violet pulled Charles to his feet and began to pull him over to the edge of the the water, with ridiculous ease. "Hey hang on? Where's Lin-" "RAAAAAA!!!!!!"
"AHHH!!" Charles fell back in fright, Violet was startled, but quickly recovered and gave a smirk. "You really need to improve on being scary." Linda rolled her eyes and swam back into the water "Come on in the waters great!!"
"Yeah!!" Harry yelled as he jumped of a rock and splashed into the water, he broke the surface and moved his ginger hair out of his eyes "Come on in V!! I dare you to a cannon ball contest!!!"
Violet gave a competitive smirk "Oh, its on ginger!!!" She pulled Charles to her side and ran up the rock "WHY AM I COMING?!"
Violet smirked and made it to the edge of the rock "Because I wanna see you get all wet~..." Charles blushed 50 shades of red
He was about to turn and run when two voices yelled up at the two "YEAH!! GET SOME CHALRES!!!!" "KISS THE GRAPE!!!"
"GRAPE?!" Violet smirked and glared at Harry "Oh you asked for it turkey boy!!" She jumped of the rock, pulling Charles down with her "Cannon ball!!!"
