I was the only person still left outside.
Watching Aaliyah and Lonzo leave was hard for me for some reason. They are my older siblings and Aaliyah became my best friend away from home. I was broke out of My thoughts by my mom calling my name.

"Melo, come inside sweetie."

"I'll be inside in a minute."

"Okay. Just get out of the middle of the road before you get ran over."

My mom disappeared into the house and I watched them both drive off until I couldn't see them anymore. I wiped the tears off of my face and slowly made my way into the house. I went up to my room and flopped on my bed.

I sat up against my head board and opened Snapchat and checked stories.   I opened Zo's first. He had secretly recorded me crying because they were leaving. I swiped up on the video

"Delete it right now.🖕"

I open Aaliyah's story and check out her only snap today.

It only made me miss them more. I closed snapchat and opened Instagram. I posted the picture of us from the first game we seen Liyah play in.

Melo: throwback not Thursday....@zo and @adballtaylor3 left for UCLA today. Not gonna lie, I did cry but only because now I'm stuck with @gelo. They've only been gone for 20 minutes and I already miss them. 😭😭😭

I posted the picture and exited the app. I heard a knock on my door.

"Yeah?"

My door opened and Gelo walked in.

"Baby bro?"

"Huh?"

"You good bruh?"

"Yeah, I'm straight bro."

"You positive?"

"100%"

"I'm gonna go get lunch. What do you want?"

I looked up from my phone.

"Where are you going?"

"Dairy Queen probably. "

"Just get me whatever you get. "
