The Truth

Part 4: The Talk

Zim ran to Dib's house, just a block away. It sure did seem a long way for Zim. Anyway, he eventually got to Dib's house.
Zim walked up Dib's driveway, and shot out his metal spider legs from is PAK, knocking on the overly high sized window on the top floor. Zim looked in, smiling his ADORABLE little Irken smile, and when he heard a door open from the other side of the room, his spider legs descended back into his PAK, causing him to jump down from the 10 foot-ish height. From above, he heard the window open, with the sound of Dib's voice speaking,
"HELLO?!" He yelled. At least the WHOLE neighborhood had heard him. Man, was Zim laughing alright..
So, then Zim decided to ring the doorbell. A loud sound echoed through the house, making Zim's antennae shiver.
The door creaked opened, showing Dib with the weirdest face..
"ZIM?!"
"Hi."
(Awkward silence)
"What are you doing here..."
"No reason."
"You're acting strange, Zim..." Dib said scared.
"Eh? I have? Whhaa..?"
"You're a really bad liar."
"LIAR!!" Zim SCREAMED shoving the door opened.
"Heh, was I right?"
"yeah."
(Another awkward silence)
"TOLD YA SO"
"whatever. I have come to say, Dib-worm, good work. It has been fun fighting you PITIFUL human."
"What are you talking about, Zim?" Dib questioned.
Zim held out his hand, expecting him to shake it.
"What are you doing?"
"SHAKE MY HAND HUMAN."
"Okay okay." Dib held out his hand, then hesitated.
"Is this some sort of TRAP?!"
"No."
"Oh, okay."
Dib shook Zim's hand, surprised?
"What was that for? DID YOU POISON ME?!"
"No."
"Oh, okay."
"Okay."
"So, are you still trying to conquer Earth?"
"No."
"What, why? The Zim I've known doesn't just give up like THAT?!"
Zim blushed...
"Uh, I didn't mean it that way."
(Yes, yes this is happening *evil laugh*)
"So, we cool??"
"No." Zim said, as he turned around. :(
'Huh, he opened the door, but never came in, weird.' Dib thought to himself as he slammed the door, walking inside his house.
