Chapter Thirty-Four

Start from the beginning

"This is for my father and mother. " And I torn his heart out of his chest, kicked him upwards, I jumped upwards as well higher than him and firebended a volcanic river downwards, covering the king in it.

My mother and Sepherus scatter away from the lava river. I landed in a near statue that was broken in two. I was breathing hard. That attack was my last. I transformed back into my naked birthday suit.

Sepherus quickly took his coat out and covered me with it. Moments later guards came. "My Queen! Are you alright?!" They said as they corner Sepherus and I. Probably thinking we were the bad guys.

"It's alright boys. Please, welcome your princess back home." She said point at me.

They all kneel down before me. I didn't care. I was glad it was all over.

"And the king your majesty?" One of the guards said once they looked around. "He's dead." Sepherus simply said. All of the guards started whispering.

"All hail the queen!" One of the guards screamed. Then everyone was yelling the same. "The princess saved us. Not me. Give her the honors!" My mother said interrupting them. Then they started yelling "All Hail the princess!"

I started to get dizzy. My body was taking it. I felt exhausted. I started to fall backward. I heard the screams of hooray diminished with a gasp from everyone. Thankfully Sepherus grabbed me making sure the cloak covered me.

"Sleep Baby. I'll take care of you."

I closed my eyes.

Sepherus's POV:

I quickly carried Katherina to one of the rooms. "Everyone seems happy to the death of the king..." I said as I put Katherina on the bed. "Yes... I guess we just wanted to feel free." The queen said a tear of relief running out from her eye.

"Yes, my queen. It's all over. " I started to take the coat out of Katherina's body as The queen gave me a dress. I didn't even care of what she wore at this moment because I was to perplex to see that around her shoulder some veins dark blue veins were growing.

"What is this?!" The queen rushed towards me. Her pale face went even more white if possible. "No...This can't be... David! He must of...used that technique!" She said gasping.

"What technique are you talking about?!" I was freaking out. " He has been a parasite in her body. He's not dead. He's living inside her!"

"WHAT?!How is that possible!" I grabbed Katherine's hand. "When we were in the war he used to change bodies in order to keep his intact. Or when he would be in the blink of death he would inject himself into his prey."

"And what do we do to stop him?!" I couldn't lose Katherina.

"We have to find a witch to bound him. To make him sleep but I don't know if it's possible for him to be detached. Katherina might die in the process. I'll get the witch." The queen said getting up.

"Just when I thought this era of injustice was over. Here you play a game changing card. You bastard. Next time I will kill you myself. For good."

Minutes later the queen enter with a small elf that I knew too good. "Kiona?"I was surprised and glad she was here. "Get out of my way. You should have brought me! I'm so mad at you !!" She kicked me in my legs making me fall off the bed.

"Jeez. Sorry for caring enough to not endanger your life." I said as I stood up. "Shut up. We need to bind this. With the binding spell he will not be able to come out. Well. Only when Katherine allows it. Quick. I need to go to a bigger room, I also need some white chalk and a little bit of your blood my queen and something that belongs to the king... Something he treasured a lot." She said as she took out a book.

An Ancient spell book.

"Alright. Let's move to the room next to this one. Quick. I already told my maid to bring the material via my mind." The queen quickly said. I need that mind communicating ability I thought. "No, you don't. You can hear...things...very disgusting ones."

I forgot she could read minds as well. I quickly got Katherina that had started to turn in her sleep. We moved to the room next to us. Kiona ordered me to put Katherina in the middle of the room.

Once the materials were gathered, Kiona started drawing a sort of magical circle. The queen had gathered a ring. A blue Sapphire ring that had black crown decorations. "Alright. Now step aside." Kiona said. She stood outside the ring. And started chanting a spell.

Katherina's body stood up with her arms opened wide as if she was tied to a cross. She started screaming, blood was coming out of her nose and eyes.

I was about to stop the spell when the queen halted me. "if you want her alive, don't interfere." She had her queen tone. I couldn't do anything.

I couldn't watch.

Before long I heard Katherina fall to the ground and Kiona stopped chanting her spell. "It's done."

I rushed over to Katherina's side. I cleaned her face. Kiona grabbed the ring and put it on Katherina's middle finger. I heard a sound of a door closing. "The ring is where the king is residing. I bounded the ring to Katherine's body. She is the only one that can take it off. If she does, she will let the King rebirth and be free." I know that was never going to happen.

Seconds later Katherina opened her eyes. I gave a sigh of relief. "Baby? How are you feeling?" I said stroking her cheek. "I feel hungry..." She said with a smile.
