Chapter two

I woke up in my black and white room. I checked my phone, it's already five in the morning. I sigh out of exhaustion. I just woke up but here I am, tired as hell. I looked at the door when I heard someone knocks.

"Madam? Ano pong gusto niyong breakfast?"

They're scared to give me something that I might not like.

"Still the same and besides, you know my favorite." I told the maid.

"Okay po, Madam."

When I heard her footsteps fade, I decided to get a shower and get dressed. I wear my office attire. Wearing my red long sleeve with my black coat pairing it with my black slacks and red stilettos.

I have many appointments to attend to and I hate it. Especially, to those people who just wanted to leech on my company. I wanted to kick them in the ass. And yes, I give a damn.

After taking a shower, I checked the time and it's six already. I called my assistant to know my errands for today.

"Mich, what's my schedule for today? With Mr. Reyes? Alright." I ended the call. I picked up my suitcase and went to the dining area.

"Here's my great daughter." I looked at him, he's holding a magazine with an article about me and the company. A big deal for him but not for me.

"Big deal?" I said sarcastically. Tumayo ako at kinuha yung suitcase ko. Nakakawala ng gana makita ang lalaki na ito dito sa pamamahay.

"Do not turn your back on me while I'm speaking to you, young lady! Tandaan mo ako pa rin ang pangalawang..."

Hindi ko siya pinakinggan at nagdire-diretso na lang ako papuntang garahe where my driver and body guards are waiting. Wala akong panahon makipag-usap sakanya lalo na at hindi ko siya kadugo. I don't care if this is his house now, I can buy my own house bigger than this! I just can't leave cause of my father and for me, no one can replace him.

One of my body guards opened the car door for me. "Ma'am? Sa Luxient po ba tayo?" my driver asked me. I just rolled my eyes, seriously? Tinatanong niya 'yon? Saan pa ba ang company na ako ang may-ari? Huminga ako nang malalim ayokong masira ang araw ko.

"Yes." Tipid kong sagot.

I've got three body guards, one on the front seat and the others are on my both sides. I really don't need body guards but my Mother doesn't agree with me. I can defend myself! I don't need these kind of guards or something!

Now, I am thinking about everything. Ano bang mga naiisip ko? Lalong nasisira ang araw ko. I took off my eye glasses and massage my temples.

"Ma'am, okay la-"

"Manong... just shut—don't mind me." I breathe deeply to relax... inhale...exhale.

After a few minutes, we arrived to my destination. Katabi ng office ng company ang mismong hotel na pagmamay-ari ko. They opened the door for me and walk through the big glass doors of this building.

Lahat bumabati at yumuyuko kapag nakikita ako. Sumakay ako ng elevator matapos kong sabihan yung mga guard na maghintay na lang sa lobby.

Ayokong may guard na kasama sa office ko baka lalong mag-init ang ulo ko. Pagbukas ng elevator, nakita kong nanglaki ang mga mata ng mga epleyado ko.

"What?" I frankly asked.

"Ah, g-good morning Ma'am." I just smirked at them and started to walk going to my office. Ano bang meron ngayon sa mga tao? At nakakabwisit silang lahat.

Umupo ako sa swivel chair ko at tumalikod sa table ko. Tumingala ako at ipinikit ang mga mata ko. Umaga palang ay nananakit na agad ang ulo ko. Ang bilis talagang makasira ng araw ng lalaking 'yon.
