(SIMON'S POV)

Will you marry me?

I had asked her that. She closed her hand over her mouth.

Yes, she had said.

I froze in my spot. I didn't know what to expect, I definitely didn't expect her to say yes.

She hugged me tightly and I kissed her. She was the only one. I would never love anyone like this.

Ever.

She said yes. Yes. To me!

I grinned like an idiot.

"What's so funny?" She tilted her head. I always thought it was cute how she was always confused.

"I didn't expect you to say yes," I admitted.

She touched her hands to my cheek. I nudged my head and rubbed my hand over hers.

"I would say yes, and if I had another chance to be in this moment, I would have still said yes," she smiled as tears fell down her cheeks.

"I love you," I said.

"I love you too, Simon," she nuzzled her head in my shoulder.

"Well, wasn't that touching?"

We both turned around and saw..

(JACE'S POV)

I took a deep breath as I went into the pandemonium.

I needed a drink.

I sat down at the bar stool as she stood next to me.

"Why are you here?" I asked, annoyed.

But the annoyed feeling went away when the strong force connecting me to her took over.

I cupped her face and immediately kissed her.

I broke away as a certain red-head walked into the club.

(CLARY'S POV)

*before the club*

~Flashback~

"What are you doing here, Sebastian?" I asked the figure approaching us.

"I need a task to be done," he said with amusement in his tone.

"What kind of task?" I asked.

"I need you to go to the Pandemonium and meet up with a certain friend of mine," Sebastian said.

"What does he look like? How am I supposed to find him?" I snapped.

"He's the only one with 8 eyes," Sebastian laughed. He handed me an envelope.

"Don't open it if you want to keep both your arms," he said walking away.

Sebastian turned around. "I'll know if you open it."

And with that, he dragged me out of the locked door.

"Wear this," he said, throwing a red dress.

I growled as I changed into the dress.

It felt so tight that anyone could see my curves.

I saw heels laying by the door and slipped them on.

Looks like it was time for a mission.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

I walked into the club, feeling slightly uncomfortable in this tight dress. I looked around to see through any glamours.

Then, I spotted a certain blonde.

Kissing another girl.

I felt tears burn my eyes.

"Jace?" I said as he broke away the kiss.

"Clary? We've been looking everywhere for you!" Jace exclaimed.

"Well, I wasn't down that girl's throat, but I think you already know that," I said, hands on my hips. I might have looked confident, but inside I was crumbling.

"Clary-I," he stumbled for words.

"Goodbye, Jace."

I walked away to the corner, where a man stood, smiling. On the outside, he was gorgeous. Black hair, yellow eyes, nice build.

But through his glamour, he had eight eyes and four arms. I approached him.

I could feel Jace's stare on me, but I didn't dare look back.

I should have cried, but nothing came out. I guess I ran out of tears to cry with.

"Hello, Clarissa," said the man with a smirk.
