'Dragons Are Coming'

WHAT HAPPENED WHILE I WAS PASSED OUT?

2nd Person POV

You woke up to both dragon slayers, again in a sandwich.

Trying to get out of their grip, you struggled. Nothing you did worked.

The door to Sting's room opened.

"(Y/N)?"
A familiar fire headed dragon slayer said.

"NATSU! Please save me from whatever i'm stuck in..."

"I see. Since Popsicle would kill me if I left you with them like that, I'll help."

He came over and slowly moved their hands from your body. Then, he took off the magic cuff.

"Thanks Natsu, I owe you one."

"No problem...how did that happen anyway?"

You thought about it.

"Prank gone horribly wrong I guess."

"Them cuddling you is a prank?" The dense Natsu asked.

"Nevermind." A sweat drop fell from your head.

"Where did all the other dragon slayers go?"

"Home. It's like 7 in the morning."
"WHAT?!"

"Yeah."

This hit you. It didn't seem like it had been 11 hours ago that you passed out.

"Do we have a quest for today?"
"Probably. Lucy usually handles that stuff."

"Aye. Thanks again.."

You decided to not wake up the Dragon Slayers and go to the guild.

Fairytail was very lively today.

"Why is everyone so happy?" You asked, taking a sip of (favorite fruit) smoothie.

"Today is the day Fairytail became a guild! We're gonna party tonight!"

Another party....just your luck.

"We are inviting Sabertooth and Lamia Scale!"

Gramps said, taking a chug of his booze.

"So (Y/N) are you excited to party with the duo again?"

You blushed at the thought of another party with them.

" I guess."

Mira fangirled over your reply.

"I don't know what to ship! (Rogue x reader ship name) or (Sting x reader ship name)?"

"How about (Sting x Rogue x Reader ship name)?" Umi said, joining in on your conversation.

"That's good too."

You sighed and continued to watch the guild members drink.

The doors busted open to reveal Natsu and Lucy running in.

"GUYS! THE ECLIPSE GATES ARE OPENING!"
"IT'S NOT GOOD! THOUSANDS OF DRAGONS ARE GOING TO BE TAKING OVER OUR WORLD!"

We all stood there, shocked as could be.

"Is this another prank Natsu?" You laughed, stepping up to him.

"NO (Y/N)! ACTUAL DRAGONS ARE COMING!"

He seemed serious, but it was also during the prank wars.

"Show me then. Show me that the dragons are 'coming'."

Making air quotes, you laughed again.

"THE ECLIPSE GATE WAS OPENED AND DRAGONS ARE COMING!"

"You're in on it too Lucy?"
"(Y/N) WE AREN'T JOKING!"
The guild didn't know what to the think about the situation.

"I'll go see for myself then. If I'm not back, then the dragons are real and you must fight them. If I come back, it's all a joke. Got it?"

Natsu and Lucy nodded and you took your leave. Umi followed you out.

"Umi, do you really think that dragons are coming?"
"No, Natsu's always playing jokes on everyone."

"It's a very big idea for such a small brained dragon slayer like him."

Your exceed laughed at your comment.

No dragons were seen outside, so you didn't really worry.

"Let's go back and show Natsu that it was all a-"

Before you could finish your sentence, a cloaked figure covered your mouth and wrapped you in his cloak.

"(Y/N)!" Umi shouted, trying to pull you away from the figure.

You shook your head and tried to point for Umi to go back to the guild. She understood and flew back.

"Hello...princess."

"R-rogue?"

"I'm not the Rogue you know. I am Rogue Cheney from 7 years in the future."

His hair was a half and half of black and white. Tattoos were going along the right side of his face, along with a scar across his nose.

The light in his eyes had gone out. They were pure red now, but the minute he looked at you. The light came back for just a few seconds.

The new Rogue hugged you and started to cry.

"R-rogue...- I mean Future Rogue. Why are you crying? Why did you surprise jump me like that?"

"(Y/N)..." He stumbles on your name.

"In the future...Gray kills you along with Frosch."

"WHAT?!"

The thought of your own father killing you never had crossed your mind.

"I-I didn't save you in time!"

His hug got tighter.

You stay startled by the sudden news.

"So to keep you safe this time, you'll be coming with me. You'll be the Queen of the dragons and I'll be the King!"
The sparkle in his eyes dulled as he said that.

"King and Queen of the dragons?" You thought for a moment, "Isn't that already Igneel and Acnologia?"

Those red eyes darted at you, piercing your soul.

"I WILL OUT POWER THEM! HAHAH!"

This Rogue was very...insane.

"Future Rogue...I know those two dragons, they are beyond any power one dragon slayer could take."

"You don't believe I can do it?"

"N-no! It's not that, I just know you'll end up very hurt or killed."

The shadow dragon slayer looked angry.

"I'll show you I can beat them! I was able to beat Sting, so I will be able to beat them!!"

"W-what? What happened to Sting?!"

"Don't worry at that...for now." He said, then he punched you in the stomach.

This caused you to see darkness and fall limp into his arms.

"I'm sorry my dear (Y/N). However, I must keep you safe from them...this time!"

With that, the figure left into the shadows.
