I Meet Connor Stoll and Claimed By A Maiden Goddess Who Hates Guys

I tried to ignore my beating heart and I tried to stop my surprise showing on my face.
"Really? What about me reminds you of her?"
"You guys don't look the same, but there's something about your aura" he said knowledgeably, nodding his head
I rolled my eyes playfully. He laughed, he looked really cute when he laughed.
"I didn't get your name"
His smile widened
"Connor. Connor Stoll"
"You have a twin?"
His eyes widened
"Really?" A whole lot of fake surprise covered his face "I had no idea"
I rolled my eyes. Again. I needed to stop doing that.
"I'm gonna assume your name is Queen of Eye Rolls" he rolled his eyes in mock imitation
"No..." I hedged "it's Isla"
I ignored him through the rest of my meal until he said
"You know, there's something off about you. No new demigod is this normal. They're all freaking out. You, on the other hand, are calmly eating a steak."
I looked up, a bite halfway in my mouth
"There is something off about you Isla" Connor said it in a teasing way, not an accusing way.
At that point, I started desperately praying. In my head though.
"Come on I know I broke like fifty rules in like half an hour, but help me!!! Please."
That was when I noticed the entire Hermes table staring at me
I looked at Connor, who was smirking. I looked at Justin, who was fast asleep, and I said
"Did I say that out loud?" Which was probably the dumbest thing I could possibly say
"Only the last few words" Connor nodded
I felt my face starting to become tomato red. Lucky for me, Mr D announced that we had to go to the campfire. I kicked Justin in the shin to wake him up and we walked towards the fireplace. The second everyone was gathered, an owl appeared over Justin's head.
"That was fast" Connor muttered from next to me. The whole camp turned around to stare at me, waiting for a symbol to appear over my head. All of a sudden the entire camp gasped. At the same time. I ducked to look at the symbol.

It was a deer.
The symbol of Artemis.
