I liked laying here next to Lilah just talking.
"Anastacia finally told me what happened between her and Matt." she whispered.
"Matt told me too.....can you believe all of this crap was over a kiss that happened at a stupid party three years ago?" I asked her.
"Well obviously Matt's feelings were hurt Jim. But I got the feeling she didn't tell me everything you know. "
"Well I'm pretty sure we don't have to worry about those two anymore, I mean I don't think I've ever seen Matt look so damn happy." I said kissing her forehead "We can concentrate on us."
"I'd like that." she whispered to me "So Jim am I like your girlfriend now?" she asked me.
Girlfriend.....now that's a word that usually made me sweat.
I wasn't a guy who liked commitment.
But when Lilah said it I did not hear that voice that usually told me to run....run quick and get away from her.
"You know what? You are and I'm damn lucky to be able to say that." I whispered kissing her.
I pulled her closer to me and drifted off to sleep.
