I got changed quietly but I had to turn on my torch.
I could see Anastacia lying on her side facing the wall of the tent.
"I'm awake." she whispered.
I scooted over to her sleeping bag and put my arms around her.
"I'm really sorry you know, about what I said back there."
"It's OK Lil, you were right." she whispered.
"Did Matt catch up with you? " I asked.
She nodded and I swear I saw her smile.
"Well I hope he was nice."
"He was so don't worry. "
I got the feeling that she would say that anyway after I'd told her I'd had enough of her and Matt.
"So I kissed Jimmy." I said.
She smiled and turned to look at me "Soooo. ....".
"So....it was really nice and I think I really like him." I told her.
"Good, I'm glad for you, he's a nice guy." she whispered.
I sat up and looked at her.
Something had happened, I had no doubt, the look on her face gave that away, I just didn't know what it was.
But I sure as heck was going to find out.
