EARTH 1, BARRY POV
"Hey." I say to Cisco speeding in
"Hey" He responds not looking up
"Whatcha working on?" I ask
"A device that can keep a breach open for Earth 1 and 38." He says
"Wow. Thanks." I say
"No problem. You seem to like spending more time with Kara than your friends, so." He says angrily
"You wanna talk about it?" I ask
"Is there any way out of it?" He asks sarcastically
"I miss my friend. You're always so busy saving the world and when you do, you always go to Kara right after to tell her the news. You never tell us anything, and you sometimes outright disappear!" He yells
I stay silently shocked and Cisco shakes his head
"Sorry I don't know what came over me." He says
"It's fine. I never realized, how I don't spend time with you anymore." I answer
"It's fine. You're happy and that's all that matters." He responds
"Hey Barry." Caitlin says walking in
"Hey." I respond
"How are you today." She says hugging me
"I'm fine. As usual. But I need your help, Cisco is upset that I'm not spending enough time with you guys. Any advice?" I ask
"Well too be fair, you really aren't. But maybe we should all have dinner or something." She answers
"Huh. Maybe." I say to myself
"Barry, attack near the Park." Caitlin yells
I change into my suit and speed there as fast as I can
"Are you new in town?" I yell
They all turn their heads and start shooting, but I easily dodge the bullets
"You must be. Bullets don't work on me." I say speeding up to them
I tie them up and leave them for the police
"That was fast." HR says
"Well, I wouldn't use my powers to be slow, so." I answer back
"So I was wondering if you'd guys like to have dinner." I ask team Flash
Everyone says sure and head back to whatever they were doing
2 HOURS LATER, BARRY POV
"Hmm." I say looking at a photo of me and Kara
"Have I been that cruel to my friends?" I ask myself
Barry's phone rings and he opens the door to see Cisco and Caitlin
"Hey guys." I say
"Hey. No Kara?" Cisco asks
"Nope, just team Flash." I answer
"Great. Well, just us here now?" Cisco says
"Yep." I respond
"Let's go set up the food." I continue
Barry, Cisco, and Caitlin set up the food and everyone comes one by one
"Wow it's weird. Hanging out and relaxing with each other. We never get to do this a lot." I say
"Right? Also Barry just so you know the device is ready." Cisco says eating some pizza
"Thanks Cisco. I really owe you. But for now let's finish eating cause someone might attack the city." I say laughing
Everyone eats and eventually goes home
"Wow. I already miss them." I say in my thoughts
I look at a picture of Kara and myself
"But I can't help missing you more." I say
EARTH 38, KARA POV
"How many more times do we have to do this Livewire?" I yell at her
"As long as I live." She says blasting me with electricity
I narrowly dodge the blast and pin her arms on to a wall
"You're not escaping this time." I say head butting her
I knock her out and bring her to the DEO
"Well done, another villain caught." Alex says
"Yep. Just wish I didn't have to keep doing this." I say rubbing my forehead
"Its part of the job." Winn says
"I guess. Oh I have to start work again finally." I say rushing out
I fly to L Corp and go into Lena's office
"Hey Lena!" I say worried
"Hello Kara." She says not looking up
"You ok? You seem, extremely tired." I say sitting down
"I-I'm fine. Just, was kind of busy last night." She says yawning
"You can have my latte if you want." I offer
"Thank you. You always know how to make my day better." She says grabbing it
"Anyways, you're going to be working as a secretary and advisor." She states
"Yep. Hopefully I'll be a good one." I whisper
"You will be don't worry." She says shocking me
"Well, do you need anything?" I ask
"No, I think I'm good, I just need someone to talk to I guess." She says
"I understand. It's always great to talk to someone." I respond
"So, what's up with your life?" Lena asks
"I have a boyfriend. I've had him for a year, and I really want him to propose. Any advice?" I ask
"Well, first, I'm surprised he hasn't proposed, you're an amazing person. But really, if you love him, don't wait, just propose yourself." She answers
"Huh. Propose him myself, never thought about that." I say to myself
"Can you go and call my business manager, I need to talk to them about why money is going into buying puppies." Lena asks writing notes
"Sure. And don't punish them, puppies are adorable." I say walking out
The rest of the day goes by slowly and I head home
"Hey." Alex says opening the door
"Here's some donuts." She offers
"Thank you." I respond
"Look I know you really want Barry to marry you. But you just have to be patient." She says after a while
"How did you and Maggie get married so fast. You only dated for 4 months." I ask
"It was a spur of the moment decision. Because at the moment I asked her, I knew, I didn't want to lose her, without doing what I had wanted to." She responds
"I'll be right back. DEO business." She sighs
I watch TV and Alex comes back
"Come with me." She says taking my hand
"Where are we going?" I ask
"Just trust me." She responds
2 HOURS LATER, Kara POV
"What is this?" I ask as soon as we get there
Alex says nothing and leaves
"Hey." I hear a familiar voice
