1 WEEK LATER, EARTH 1, THIRD POV
"Dude, you have to leave the house some day." Cisco says
Barry groans and flops to his side
"This is not the Barry I know. The Barry I know would-" Cisco gets cut off by Barry
"Then you don't know me very well." Barry mutters
"Dude come on, you can't be that upset that Kara broke your hea-" Cisco gets cut off
"Isn't this the same thing you did for a while when you found out Kendra was dating Carter and Ray?" Barry says cutting him off
"I only did that for 2 days. Ok 4. But Barry it's been a week. And for all you know she might just be trying to push you away. Ok that sounds bad, but, either way you still need to talk to her." Cisco says
Barry doesn't move and Cisco sighs
"He's not budging." Cisco tells Caitlin and Joe as he walks out
"At all?" Caitlin asks
"Just a bit I guess, I mean he's starting to talk again." Cisco says
"Well we need him back, Wally and you can't keep doing this alone." Joe says
"Right. We'll find a way. I promise." Cisco says walking away with Caitlin
"How long has he stayed in the STAR Labs guest room?" Caitlin asks
"He stayed at his apartment for about 2 days and came back here and stayed here for 5 days. Oh crap, ok someone should probably check his apartment." Cisco says
Cisco goes over to contact Wally and ask him to check Barry's apartment as Caitlin goes over to sit by Barry
"Hey. You okay? Well actually seeing how you are I guess I really can't say you're okay considering you're in- this situation." Caitlin says
Barry doesn't move
"Barry I swear to God if you don't move-" Caitlin gets cut off by an idea
Caitlin tickles Barry in a spot of where Iris showed her that is guaranteed to make him sit up
"AGH!" Barry says sitting up
Caitlin laughs and Barry tries to lie back down but Caitlin blocks his back with her hand
"Barry. You need to get up some day." Caitlin says
"Ok, Wally says his apartment is fine and- Bro why'd you wake up for Caitlin but not me?" Cisco says laughing
"She forced me to." Barry says groaning
"You need to teach me that." Cisco says to Caitlin
"Anyways, now that you're awake, let's talk. What's really bothering you?" Cisco asks
"Nothing." Barry says groaning
"Barry..." Caitlin says sternly
"It's just a recurring thing with me I guess. As much as I love someone, I end up hurting them in some way. Linda, Patty, Iris, Kara. I hurt them in so many ways, by not telling them I'm not the Flash, Iris was killed, and Kara, I'm going to have her suffer everyday knowing that I could die and she could lose me again." Barry says tearing up
"I never felt this way about most of my girlfriends, but Kara. She, she's just amazing and I can't be more afraid of death than I am now. I'm afraid I'm going to break Kara if I die this time." Barry says
"Barr-" Cisco gets cut off
"Just leave me alone. Please." Barry says lying back down
Cisco and Caitlin walk out leaving Barry to himself as he scrolls through his photos
"Ha. The day Kara got mad at that one Terroriser person for constantly winning at Mario Kart." Barry says smiling
"And the day she was at the puppy beach. She was so happy I thought she was gonna break the Puppy's back." Barry says tearing up
"The day we met... I really should thank Winn for secretly getting the photo of me and her space ship." Barry says laughing
