Our missing friend

Chapter 40

"So why can't one of your friends watch this with you?" I ask Trevor as we wait in line at the movies

"Because now that we are friends again we haven't had a chance to hang out and do normal stuff" he says to me

"Okay" I say but I am happy to have someone to hangout with

"It's too bad Ruby couldn't come" he says making conversation

"Yeah" I agree, I had called her and begged her to come but she says she had to study for a test that's not until next week

Just when I thought I was going to have a good night I hear a voice that instantly gives me a migraine.

"Well look who it is" heather says

I over at her and see her friends and Felix, me and Felix look at each other and you would of thought we hadn't become friends again and that we are totally strangers.

"Hey Felix" Trevor says not knowing he probably shouldn't act like there friends in front of his friends

"So cute how the losers stick together" heather snickers

"Speaking of stick why don't you finally get that stick that been up your ass" I give her a fake smile and give Felix a dirty look

I can tell Trevor is hurt that Felix won't acknowledge him.

We buy our tickets and sit in the very back, we watch Felix and his friends sit in the middle.

"He'll realize who his real friends are" Trevor says and he grabs a hand full of popcorn

I give him a small smile and open my bag of skittles.

As soon as the movie ended I made Trevor hurry and leave because I really didn't want to run into Felix and heather, I'm still mad at Felix but not surprise he will never change just like I won't it's probably for the best we are to different to be friends and the only thing we honestly have in common is Daisy and wanting to find her and whenever we do we probably won't speak to each other ever again we will just go on with our lives just like before.

"That was a good movie huh?" Trevor says as he walks me home which isn't to far from the movie theater

"Yeah it was better than i thought it was going to be" I say

"Listen don't be too mad at Felix he does care about us" Trevor says because he doesn't want us to all stop being friends again

"Thanks for inviting me tonight I had a really good time" I say honestly and changing the subject not wanting to talk about Felix

"Me too" he smiles

I see Trevor mom in my driveway waiting to pick him up.

"I'll see you Monday okay" I tell him

"See you later alligator" he says as he climbs into his moms car

I go into my house and go upstairs to my room and just as I'm putting on my pjs I hear my doorbell ring, I go downstairs and look through the peephole to see Felix standing there.

"Go away Felix" I tell him

"Please open the door" he says

"I don't want to talk" I say to him

"Hazel please open the door" he begs

I open the door but I block the doorway so he cant come in, I fold my arms and raise an eyebrow hinting I'm not in a good mood.

"I'm sorry" he says and I know he means it but I'm still pissed

"Your always sorry Felix" I sigh

"I feel bad" he bows his head down

"Well you should and you should really apologize to Trevor you know how he worships you and think you guys are friends" I say getting worked up

"We are friends" he says

"Well you sure don't act like it letting heather talk to us like that and always ignoring us in public" I snap

"You don't understand" he sighs running a hand through his hair

"I feel sorry for you! You such a coward!" I basically yell

"Like you have room to talk your basically the reason we all stopped being friends! You push everyone away!" He snaps back and I honestly didn't expect that because I never seen him angry but doesn't mean I'm backing down

"It must be nice to be so perfect! So Just go back to your perfect life Felix" I say and slam the door in his face
